ha your late! i learned this from TAPION TAPION IS WAAY BETTER i played TAPION and i couldnt even touch him. watch his RYU/POLYMER SILLY COMBOS 10X BETTER.
Can anyone give me any advice? I can do this combo, and the combo pandahboy mentioned, but it never fails, at the very end I can't link the 360+2x, and if I manage to get it in, it's a broken combo :P What am I doing wrong?
Honestly i dont recommend attempting to connect it. It harshly damage scales after so many hits. Instead go for a reset and they have no chance of breaking it. Just stop mid combo enough that they are just slightly above you and you can do even more damage.
Think of the directions as your numpad Up is 8, down is 2, right is 6 and left is 4, with the diagnals being 1,3,9,7 QCF would be 2,3,6 DP/SRK would be 6,2,3 HCB would be 6,3,2,1,4 A = light B= medium C = Heavy P = Partner Always assumes character is facing right Notations like this are used in games like TvC, or BlazBlue
@duo317 So you're saying that the numbers are only placed with Left, Right, Up, and Down as even numbers and diagonals are odd numbers? What is the pattern? Is it this (assuming that youre going clockwise from up and ending at up): 8>7>6>3>2>1>4>9? That makes no sense.
Its one of the more normal notations used in fighting games, especially in blazblue, Guilty gear, and tvc. Look at your numpad for reference.
If you pressed 5C, that would be no directional input and heavy attack, while 6C is foward and heavy attack. Its a quicker an easier way to write and understand combos that way.
As I said before, look at your numpad, and your character is facing right. 3C is a launcher. 1C is a sweep, generally
doesn't it do more damage if you baroque first then use the canceled kicks? ;o
just use the last cancel to do the light version of the charge back, forward x move that does two punches, then pick him off the ground when he bounces off the wall with 2a, 3c to j.a, j.a, j.b, j.b, 360 + 2 attack buttons. The 623x is optional after the launch if you can get the timing down.
baroque is a term typically used as an adjective to describe something that's highly detailed and dramatic, hence the "baroque" period in art history.
That aside, in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, going "baroque" means that you want to "add the finishing touches" on a combo, Essentially you're extending a combo by canceling, only bad part is that it sacrifices your red health, so your character won't be regenerating as much when tagged out.
man the only thing i have a hard time with is the air combos

In the commands for the combo, what the hell is "x" supposed to mean after the 623x x, 214x? O_o

yeah that's true :X
and yeah that is a nice variation. i hate timing the 623x, it usually messes up my combo for the most part as i hesitate and miss it lol.

Sorry, does "baroque" stand for "block"?

I think it's an even trade.

except that going baroque adds damage - affected by the amount of red health you have. It can add a LOT.

corner only?
drsc 2 years ago
this variation is, but you can modify it to be off the wall if you don't do the 623x and just skip to 369 + 2 attacks.
