  • my tacher has a BMW 1000 cc bike from 1984 very cool thing, he is a very expierenced biker, it has a nice sound :P

  • 8:42 is probably one of my favorite M13 moments.

  • Great comments!

  • yawn!!

  • If I were to buy my 1st m-cycle, I'd make sure I had the type of muffler that would make it as quiet as possible. I don't have a big ego and need all bystanders to see me coming and envy me. I would never own a Harley unless I had that type of muffler, but then the other H owners would likely kill me or give me a hard time.

  • @LuckyGuu i agree, but this can bring up a safety issue, if they cant hear you most cars may not see you. so it may be a good idea to have some good pipes. but its up to you, im just giving you a penny for your thoughts

  • @MrRemi528 thanks for sharing. I haven't had any close called with motorcycles, that I can remember. I do understand your point, it's just that as a person on foot I've always hated the sound of loud motorcycles. It never impresses me. Q: Would you ever consider riding around the world like Jim Rogers, in the book Investment Biker?

  • @LuckyGuu i agree i do not like the sound either but id rather get bad looks than get hit :) but of course this is just my opinion. and thank you for being mature. its very hard to find that on youtube nowa days

  • Don't you worry about turning hard over white lines?

  • 5:16 Someone got a new car...or a new wife...

  • yeah the problem is some of us are big im 6'1" and 240 so a 250cc wouldnt get me around very well. so everyone suggested a larger around 500-750cc thus americans have bigger bikes

  • @MrRemi528 I'm 6ft 250 pounds and I get around on a 250 just fine.

  • @Leagle18 yeah in the city it would but the majority of my riding will not be in the city. it will be on the highway. my friend is 5'7" and 165 and he gets his gz250 up to 55-60 and that about it.

  • @MrRemi528 Yeah, I live in the country, I do highways, mountains and tracks. I go 100km/h (60mph) in 5th gear and still have a lot to go.

  • @Leagle18 what bike do you have?

  • @MrRemi528 2011 CBR250R

  • ahahaha supa bike rage speeding 8:40 XD so funny

  • Your videos always make me laugh :) happy riding :) x

  • You have two fucking lanes and you still cross double yellow...

  • i prefere ducati's but to bad that they cost alot even occasions and nearly none for low prices have ABS..

  • First real street bike was a CB350 that was perfect. I would say any bike between 350 up to 650 max is ok to start depending on if you've had some experience first on something like small dirt bikes.

  • My first bike: Ducati 848.

But in my country we get proper lessons and exams before you deserve your license.

  • My first bike...400cc. Yawn. Second bike....865cc. Much better. Take an MSF course (they'll give you a 250cc to learn on). I was bored of the 250cc by the end of the 2 day class. Thought a 400cc would satisfy me...nope. Take the MSF class and then buy something you actually want. Don't buy a 250cc (or even a 400cc) out of fright. If you're buying a motorcycle to be safe and careful....stick with a car.

  • @BrokenMachine85 your a idiot with a big ego and you try to give advice. Your a triple threat of retardation

  • @milhoan22 And you're a little troll bitch that bought a 250cc out of freight. Truth hurts. I gave my opinion, something you seem to be filled with. I didn't attack anyone or call any names like a little bitch (like you). Like I said, stick with a car (in your case stick with the bus). Also, it's spelled "you're." Learn to spell you dumb simpleton motherfucker.

  • @BrokenMachine85 Freight?? I'm not scared of ridding any sized bike I've been ridding my whole life and i dont need a big engine to make people like you go back to ridding tricycles at the play ground :) ok sweetheart!? and i might be a simpleton but i dont need a over sized bike to make me feel bad ass

  • @milhoan22 Touche. Well said. I respect this answer. I have no problems with 250s. All motorcycles are cool. If you're happy with what you ride, than that's all that matters. lol...and I spelled "fright" wrong, so I guess I'm a dumb simpleton too. Safe riding, dude!

  • @milhoan22 Question from a nonrider: I always wondered what the purpose of riding in a group is? Just riding or are you going somewhere important? I just drive a car or van, so I was just wondering what the point is to group riding?

  • @LuckyGuu group riding is just a good time with some of your buddies or people you just met. its a great time and usually there isn't somewhere important its just fun ridding

  • @milhoan22 thanks, I guess you to be a rider to understand why it's fun. Do you think swimming is fun, if so, WHY?

  • @LuckyGuu Umm thats really random but yeah i swim for my school and idk how to explain how its fun lol

  • @LuckyGuu it's like driving out with your friends in a car, you know you chill and have a good time, but you dont talk as much due to the fact that your on a motorcycle, well thats the way i see it as

  • @gatorsrule850 ok, but are you going somewhere important or just riding? Is riding a motorcycle that much fun, if so, why?

  • @LuckyGuu its about half and half, you know? also everyone has different reasons why they love riding, but me its just the freedom, peacefulness, and you can meet friends easily also, it makes going somewhere fun

  • Lol at moaning about your bike being clean, I paid to clean my bike ONCE. I live in a town that requires driving down country roads which ever way you go (plenty of mud) Was not amused when I got home to realise my bike just had a different shade of dirt. Hose and spunge for me now!

  • @ThunderWindz and after you get out the corner thats your ass. that lil ass 250 can even be talked in the some leagueas my Kaw ZX-14. Be real I have like 200hp to the damn rear wheel. Shit do you have enough ball even to ride that beast... No thats why you on a 250cc...lmao

  • @TheRossirepaerox 1st in America it is called a zx14, 2nd I had the money to buy and zx14 as my first bike. 3rd I don't want no Lil ass 600cc that i would have been ready to sell before the end the summer. So you but know what you talking about.

  • @thomasfrye3 i got a 250cc mc, been on it for 2 years now, its perfect for my needs and will sure outcorner ur zx14 on a small twisty road, but my dick is also big enough to talk for itself.

  • 2009 Honda CBR600RR, 725 mi, $7,250, black and red, frame and swing arm sliders to be installed. This is one that I've found in a dealership 10 miles from my house

  • My first is a kaw zx14 love it to damn tall or big for a 600

  • @thomasfrye3 1. dont lie on youtube when you dont know what your talking about

2.if your gonna lie a least do some reaserch such as what cc is a zx14

3.is it tall or big? or do you mean tall and big?

    4.if you havnt done no.2 yet a zx14 is a 1400cc bike hence zx14

  • Those are some HUGE plates for a bike.

  • m13, what was the first bike you started out with? Would you recommend it to a beginner?

  • first bike gpx 250, given me some troubles but i love it, until i can afford another bike :p

  • i enjoyed that little rage.

  • Whine, whine, whine...

  • man, if i had started on anything bigger than a 250, i would be dead right now! i mean, i remember doing stuff that i wouldn't get away with if it was on like a 600, and i believe that i'm not the only one who makes mistakes... it's not even because of how fast a big bike goes

  • I don't like the sound of twins to be honest. I prefer fours.

  • I bought a R1 as my first bike.....Never dropped it....Now I got a busa and a cbr600r...the bloke on 150cc may have the skill but I got the sexier bike...:)

  • @480al How do you like that CBR600RR? It's my second bike and I love mine! How does it compare to the R1?

  • @UBCSWraith I love the CBR. Its smooth, fast and very nimble around corners. Between the R1 and the CBR there is a crazy jump in power. R1 has got a very easy power delivery, so its way too easy to find yourself going over speed limits in a matter of 1 or 2 seconds(depending rider preference, this could be a pro or a con).

I sold the R1 coz the heat from its exhaust can be very unforgiving. It can get very very uncomfortable when you are in the middle of stop and go traffic.

  • @UBCSWraith Also, the R1 is kind of hard on the wrists. For commuting I will have to go with the CBR coz anything longer than 30mins on the R1 can be a pain coz of the exhaust heat. If you are looking to have some fun during the weekend, then go for the R1!

  • @480al I use mine for both, so I'll stick with the CBR600RR. There's still plenty of power for me since I came from a Ninja 250r.

  • @UBCSWraith Enjoy your new ride!..:)

  • @480al I'm going to buy a sportbike soon and I really want a CBR600RR. I've heard nothing but good things about it. Your take?

  • @gingernator1 I'm guessing it's you first supersport bike. I would highly recommend the CBR600RR althought many may argue a 250 is better. Here is why I recommend CBR600RR:

    # they have really good engines.

    # A 600cc motorcycle is a really powerful motorcycle, and its faster then 99% of all the vehicles out there.

    # You will keep this bike for a while before going to a 1000cc motorcycle.

  • @480al Doubt I will get a liter bike anytime soon. And I think that I will be able to handle the 600 since I currently drive an RX-8, which I taught myself how to drive manual and heel-toe on. So that's view on it. Plus a 250 is slower than my RX-8 so it would be a step down, not up.

  • @gingernator1 not to be a bonerkill but get an older 600(mid to late 90s), modern 600's are basically race replicas. I have a 94 Yamaha Fzr600r its still blazing fast, its cheap to maintain and insure(for me $250 for 1 year). I know that new bikes look fucking awesome but if i drop this bike its not gonna kill me as much as if i dropped a new bike. Did i mention i got my bike for $900? Look around dont rush your purchase and you'll find the right bike

  • @480al but if they took you out on the track they'd rape your ass

  • @Jordanmk27572 okay..lol

  • what kind of bike do you have?

  • Comment removed

  • @ M13 or any of his fans,

Are you/ Is M13 the kind of person that would bitch, rant and rage if someone completely disproves your/his opinion on the 600cc-750cc-1000cc as not being a good beginner bike?

I'm eager to disprove this theory ^_^

  • @GameVisionaryIP I think you're confusing opinion with theory. You can't disprove an opinion. It would also be boring if everyone had the same opinion.

Besides, we watch M13 for entertainment. It's fun to hear him bitch, rant and rage, as shocking or alien as that may sound. :p

  • @cheezgrated It seems i did, thanks for correcting me.

And no, that reason isn't really shocking. The more videos of his I watch, the more that reason comes to me as well :)

  • Would anyone know if a ninja 650r would be a good starter bike? I read about it and so far I'm leaning towards getting it.

P.S. I also rode a friends dirt bike sometimes and I'm not sure if that experience would help me with a street bike.

  • @chronatic808 If in doubt, I strongly recommend a Motorcycle Safety Foundation course if you're in the United States. The Ninja 650 can be a fine bike, but make sure you have some more seat time on a trainer bike that you don't mind accidentally dumping.

  • @cheezgrated Yeah I'm going to take the MSF course in a couple years just because I'm not 18 yro yet.

  • @chronatic808 you just have to be 16

  • I'm going to pick up my first bike this weekend. A 2011 CBR250. Can't wait.

  • @matao87

    have a nice ride,, :D

    my dream bike Ninja 250r,,

  • @FiQPCGamer I im buying one this year! :D

  • @RacerBiscut

:) ,,nice,, ride safety,, when i can get that bike,, ha~~

i think,, i can get in 4-5 years,, so long,, in that year,, new design will becoming,,

  • I saw a post in a thread on some motorcycle forum some guy was looking to get a motorcycle. He has NEVER ridden a motorcycle or dirtbike before. And he knows absolutely nothing about bikes also (I don't know much, but this guy knew much less than I did). Well he went out and bought his first bike.....a fucking Suzuki Hayabusa. I'm still waiting for him to kill himself

  • im really set on getting a bike but everyone tells me to get a car. i know all the pros and cons of both but truly want a bike. what should i do?

  • @twistedvenom1 in the words of that little girl from the old el paso ad; "why dont you get both?"

  • @gibbo1112 that would be great but limited amount of money

  • @LostAna23 yea... kinda knew that when i said it... :(

  • @13mordeth Oh sorry, i forgot to mention that i am a fairly experienced rider. I guess technically i have had some smaller road bikes, but i just didn't get the opportunity to ride them on the street very much. I have owned 2 CM185T's also. And many dirt bikes. My largest dirt bike being an XR500. But i have ridden my friends motorcycle, a 750 shadow, and a cb900. I prefer the larger highway/tour bikes over the nimble sport bikes. The CBX is just an all around sporty strong bike. Heavy though..

  • Well i am getting a Honda CBX 1000 as a first motorcycle. But i am more getting it for the collectible aspect of the bike over the power. But the power on it is fun too ;)

  • @USEPartyPeople and unless the law in wherever-your-from is different to Ireland your gunna have to restrict thepower so wont be able to use it anyway.

  • @patrix404 In Canada, there is no restriction on the power. The higher the CC of the motorcycle, the higher the insurance rates are. 751+cc is the top insurance bracket.

  • 4:40 lol very carefull of you

  • lol with a bike one just can avoid rev it all the time lol

  • theres no such thing as a learner bike... learning takes a few hours, for the other hundreds of hours youll be riding a 125 or 250, it wont be as exiting as a top grade 600 or 1000. true story. consider yourselves lucky, here in quebec licensing a top grade sportbike costs 1000$ per year, where less than 400cc is like 2-300. ride with your financial capabilities and not your under confidence. btw, sportbikes are good at high speed manoeuvers, otherwise supermoto is the answer :)

  • haha lol at 0:53 look at the dogs back legs

  • @azza44100 dog doesnt give a fuck :D

  • why would anyone need a 1000 dont see the point though i did learn to ride on on a cbr600

  • Hows a Derbi gpr50 as a first bike?

  • @skypejacker1 its not a bike ;)

  • wait im a very young rider im 14 so would a rs 50 be fine? because i dont need to have a license so would it be a good start?

  • Was this in Taiwan?

  • Lol My buddy Started out on a CBR1000RR, I told him he's retarded. He's trying to get me to start on one (I'm a little dude). I've told him over and over I'm not starting on anything larger than a Ninja 500, and I get shit. We'll see later down the road lol.

  • @dre5491 Better start with ninja250r

  • M13, i'd like to know what your input is to give a sort of omniscient view on my father purchasing a first motorcycle for me. I'm trying to negotiate for more than 70 horses and his want for my safety. I'm shooting for a salvaged 2009 Triumph street triple 675 or on the lighter side, a 2009 Kawasaki er-6n. he wants me to get a Kawasaki klr 650. Any input from you or anybody would be appreciated.

  • To me, this is what I've found:

Any sportbike (NOT SUPER SPORT) that is in the 600cc class will be fine. If you ride maturely, you should be set.

Look, the people that are going to ride like idiots won't listen to you and get a 600cc anyway.

The guys who are mature and get a 250cc bike first, were grown-up enough to ride a 600cc in the first place.

  • After going through like 60% of your vids, I decided a used Yamaha YZF-R125 as a starter bike. I did had an scooter 200cc but a sports bike with manual transmission is something else. So I'll start small, learn to handle it proper, to take corners, do some wheelies, stunts ect. Gonna take of the mirrors and ad sliders tho, for less damage :P And you inspired me to start video blogging, which I will do soon. Thank you for your videos and for being a crazy but lovely idiot :DDDD <3

  • my first bike is a 250 ninja, good choice? I'm loving her so far.

  • 00:40 there is movistar in japan?

  • I'm 16, and I have already owned 4 motorbikes, and I have ridden 6. One of them a 600 Suzuki Bandit :)

  • Mormon motorcyclist ad?

  • Eh. Does the cc really matter THAT much?

    I hit 130kph on a 120cc bike.

And since the highest speed limit here is 110 I don't even need that.

  • @Serostern cc = power, not speed, so i dont think ill ever understand how 5mpg can be different on 2 different bikes

  • @DaBurntToaster Yes? You know what gears are? They translate lots of power with slow speed to lots of speed with less power.

  • @Serostern meant 5mph, not mpg derp, and yes i know what gears are, but nothing can change how fast 5 mph is, only how strong it is at a speed

  • Hey Im Adrian and im starting my own motorcycle blog! (: i would really apreciate it if u would go in novamotorcycle of blogspot!

  • cbf125 for me, I would love a Yzf125 or a Aprillia, but Im 6.3 nearly 6.4, and Im pretty big boned, so Ill pass my test and get a 600 CC in a couple of years :)

  • What's a good bike that is great for a beginner, fuel efficient, and looks nice at the same time? Oh, and is it/looks weird if a girl rides a motorcycle, because I'd be embarrassed if it does and I'm just riding around the city xP

  • What bike is he riding?

  • hey man what kind of bike is that? it seems so sweet!

  • @StevenPersinger

Ninja 650r (maybe you already found that out by now...if you became a frequent viewer)

  • @FrostbitexP yeah after i asked that i saw a video that said it but thanks anyways i appreciate it. and i am now a frequent viewer btw. these videos are sweet!

  • The purple bike sounded aggressive.

  • why don't you wash and wax it yourself? takes 30min

  • How about Honda CB's? What do u think?

  • is a ninja 250r good for a learner bike

  • @kronic15 m13 says yes cuz he had that bike check hes 250 ninja video

  • @yonib59 thanks

  • 0:44 the 7-11 big fat dog.

  • i fucking hate driving driving over puddles after i just washed my car lol.. also those damn sprinklers that spray me outta nowhere

  • i feel the same way when i have to ride through florida rain

  • im getting my first bike in the next few weeks! i think im gonna get a cheap 125 untill i feel comfortable because i dont want todo something stupid with an expensive bike due to lack of experience and have to pay out my ass for it >.>, i heard honda cb250's are quite reliable and can take abit of a beating?

  • im getting my first bike soon an 1100 i would have perferred something smalller but the 1100 is free. what can i do to make sure i learn how to ride safely ie dont kill myself first time on?

  • I want to get a 125 as my first bike but i will need to do some highway driving would a 125 struggle at 110K /ph? (68mp/h)

  • @cosmicfurnal How much do you weigh? It is a little weak for highway speeds.

  • @ellimem 65kg 143 lbs i could take it slow but the main thing was not having to run the engine really hard

  • i think iam going a cbr600rr as a first bike, but the primary reason for that is that we have a lot and i mean a lot of highways in the netherlands. a 250cc is i guess not that practical. Anyone from the netherlands can confirm/deny that for me??

  • 150 and 250 is something that can be driven around town sure but when you hit freeway, it will start having issues 150 out here is not legal on the street. 600+ bikes is where you want to be for freeway, but if your goal is local, stick with 250 for first bike. I have been told you will out grow a 250 quick if you enjoy being aggressive on the road.

Personally I want a bigger bike, I know I could handle it. I drove a 250 in my test and it was easy. 650 and zx6r are my choices for my first.

  • i have always wanted a ninja 250r and I've never had a problem with it, until I learned from other riders that it would not be the most comfortable ride for long distances. I'm in the army now and I'll be based over 500 miles away from my family and friends, so I will be doing a lot of riding back and forth. I looked into getting a CBR600rr after watching some video reviews. Is that the best option for a brand new rider in my situation?

  • haha "i'm gonna slow right the fuk down"

  • oh yeah and what do you guys think about the honda cbr 125

  • i think you bike sounds beastly at higher rpm's. but i guess thats personal preference.

  • if any guy who rides a 150 or less is not a man

get a 600, the best way to start off

not a wussy ass little bike 600 is thee best way to go

  • hi! First off all, I love you're video's. But I have a question. I've owned 3scooters.

and now i boutgh a suzuki bandit 600n. Wat do you think about this bike? And do you think it's maybe to heavy for a "beginner"?

    grtz

  • what bike are you riding?

  • might i ask what bike you are riding in the video ?

  • @nirvana613 he rides a ninja 650

  • 8:43 beast mode engaged

  • what do u think about getting aprilia rs125? as learner bike.

  • @lauris15151 I think it would be almost perfect. But a Honda NSR 125 would be better.

  • @13mordeth How does the whole "motorcycle group" thing work over there? Like, you just see a group of people on the side of the rode & wait for them to leave..? Idk lol but nice riding man.

  • @13mordeth But the aprilia is an aprilia so it's sexier ;)

  • @13mordeth would a ninja 250 be a good first bike

    ?

  • @13mordeth No! Aprilia fo evah<3!

  • @13mordeth what are the best 250s? or 600s?

  • @lauris15151 I personally recommend it! I used to have and i loved the bike! Accelaration was spot on it handles like a boss and im gonna personally guerentee that you'll love it!

  • @6 min mark, i loved the story, great example of skill riding

  • Well I am thinking about getting my M-Class license. Now I am a big heavy guy so what size would you recomend for me to start on. I have tried a 100cc dirt bike and it had enough get-up-and-go to get me moving so do you think a little 400cc would be a decent starter bike? I weigh in a 260lbs, 6'1"

  • Thumbs up if you LOL'D at the fat dog lying down with its back legs splayed at 1:00

  • you look cool~

  • You don't hold back with the man and his gf overtake, just to keep him his pride, you also do it to stare at her ass!!!! :-) .....assuming she is the pillion that is!!

  • Damn, M - your videos are always awesome, but dude, do those folks know how to ride safely in formation? Makes me scared watching the shenanigans...recipe for a road rash... LOL. I don't trust the bugger who splits a lane with me. Nope....

  • i like pizza

  • Where are you riding in Taiwan? I used to have a ninja 600 and when I move to Taiwan in August I am going to buy one again. Any suggestions as to where in Taiwan to get one? also where are some good roads to ride? Thank you.

  • A guy at work just bought a 4yr old GSXR1000. Now it's put away in his garage till he passes his test!

  • my first bike was a ktm 125 exc my fav bike ever!

  • Yamaha Sig....what?

  • Lithuanian flag on the restaurant window?

  • Hey, I'm looking for a beginner bike, what cc would you prefer?

  • The sound of the 650 engine in the high RPMs really reminds me of my old gpx250 for some reason. Those were the days!

  • 100%. Scooters and small bikes give you a chance to learn the basics free of the inertia of a liter bike and too much power can get a beginner into serious trouble in a hurry. Anybody can go fast in a straight line on a liter bike, it's all about the curves.

  • I completely agree with what you say about CC size. My first bike was a 750 katana because I didn't know what in the HELL I was doing, lost my license on it too. But now I essentially have Suzuki's faired equivalent (SV650S) of your bike and even though it doesn't have that smooth high revving exhaust note, I don't know if I'll ever get a much more powerful bike. Love your videos man! I'd be interested to hear the foreign perspective on just how bad you think Rebecca Black's "Friday" song is.

  • lol freakout at 8:45

  • what kind of a bike would you recommend for your very first bike??? im a chick and i wanna learn how to ride a bike really badly, i have no idea what to get or anything abot bikes for that matter... can you help me???

  • @CUTEfunnyBUNNY0890 i'm in the same boat... well minus the chick part. And the research i've done has shown the kawasaki ninja 250r is a great starter, i'm pretty sure m13 did a review of it in the past, If your interested it might be worth the look.

  • im looking on getting a motorcycle but dont know which style or size. i live in alberta. nothing but LONG! highways with not to many corners. so what size 600,750, or 1000. now which style i dont know supermoto or super bike. superbike/touring bike. I personally like the supermoto style but thats because im use to sitting/useing a dirt bike during the summer. And I do love super and touring ones to. maybe get all three :P

  • I've had my 500cc Suzuki GS500F for two years now, and I plan on upgrading as soon as I graduate from college. I need a new ride for when I get to my first duty station, yanno? :P I was looking at a the GSXR750, but after reading up on it I think I just don't want or need all of that horsepower. I want torque because tq is how much fun you can up to the speed limit while HP is how much fun you can have *after*. I plan on getting a Honda Interceptor since I like the V-4 config and its tq ratings.
