  • Hey I like the clean with the boost on - do you keep in on all the time? I use the same amp/guitar combo but I never use the turbo boost because the volume jump is too dramatic compared to without the boost. thanks

  • @BKellyS Yes, that has given me a few issues in the past (had 2 rivera amps). What I do is leave the boost on all the time when playing live. I like the tone - I think it's a misnomer because 'boost' sounds like 'overdrive' or 'distortion'. I read an interview somewhere where Paul Rivera described the ninja as 'sweetening' the tone, which is more accurate. I like the tone without it as well, it's very very close to the sound of my tweed deluxe but doesn't break up as easily unless cranked

  • @mattacjones Cool, I'll try keeping the ninja (not "turbo", oops) boost on for my clean sound then back off the amp volume to level it back out and see how that works. Thanks!

  • Thanks for demo, love that amp

  • a bit of raunch there,eh?I'd quite fancy a set of these pu's.Probably useless for american surf music but i've got a strat for that.

  • Great sounds
