I ve played all GTA games from GTA3/vicecity/libertycity/sana­ndreas/GTA4 and other gta types like mercenaires 2 etc and i can sure all those whose underrate this game that this game is HELL AWESOME . BTW i like this game more than GTA series cause here are many specia combos and funny clips. I RATE THIS GAME 9/10 I RATE GTA 4 7/10 SANSandreas 8/10

You should check out a game called "El Matador" Tonic, since it's a combo of the cartel drug running theme, with a good chunk of Max Payne style gunfights, combined with some very nice graphics for a budget title.

Also, this game is more inspired by films like "Desperado" and "Once Upon a Time in Mexico" then the Noir styling of the Max Payne series.

Well it has a lot of action even though it obviously rips off max payne pretty heavily and borrows the sands of time effect from PoP which is odd for an action game. I doubt the story has substance though.
