  • like a glass of water responding the the vibrations of a subwoofer.

  • Impressive - much longer event than mine - were you closer to the epicenter?

  • Check my erthquake video out

  • The ppl who are saying it's fake, are fuckin' fake! :) ...This was our 1ST earthquake in about, 100 years, since the east coast has had a freakin' earthquake, so back the eff off already! And know, this was real, and it hit, NY, DC & VA. Dummies! -.-

  • @brownsugarcandie2007 - THANK YOU! People think because the fence and pool aren't jumping up and down that it's a fake - but it's the camera's, firmly attached to the house (and thus the house shaking) that caused the slightly exaggerated shaking because they are mounted on arms. If you make the video full frame you CAN see the water ripples about 15 seconds into the video. Not sure why these trolls are attacking this video but I know it's real and anyone who lives in this area knows it is

  • @1toppro I'm in VA as well, Alexandria city to be exact, and I felt that with full force, and ppl around felt this as well. Plus, why would someone climb on top of a house, to shake a camera, to pretend like there was an earthquake, with weird sounds, when it actually sounded like that, while it was happening?Half the mofo's saying it's fake, don't live in VA, DC or NY, because it was well felt. Shook everything in my place, and broke my lamp, and knocked over a lot of things in my room, & home.

  • @brownsugarcandie2007 : I know - we came home to find about a dozen items fallen off of shelves and the cabinet drawers that are on glides were all open, cabinet doors open, stuff tipped over on our dining table and other signs of what we initially thought was a break in - then we learned it was an earthquake; looked at the security cameras (we have 6 but this was the most dramatic) and discovered how it affected us. Two nights later we were awakened at 1:07am to yet another tremor! Thanks

  • @1toppro Was it the next day, or the day after, where we then got a hurricane. That's the only thing I was able to capture on camera. I would have gotten the earthquake, had I known it was going to happen. It was a few pictures knocked down, along with our cabinets, and drawers opened as well. It brought almost my entire neighborhood outside. Scared the hell outta me.

  • @brownsugarcandie2007 : it was two or three days after I think - but not the next day

  • FAKE

  • I wish my security cameras were still working and recording when this happened.

  • lol this is fake man if the camera shook so bad and there was an earthquake of 5.9 then why didnt the water in the swimming pool move?or the wheel or whatever u call it that green thing in the back didnt move either?

  • Cameras shake, perhaps more than other big things BUT THE EARTHQUAKE MADE THEM SHAKE - not me. The cameras are not rock solid bolted to my home, they are on mounts. This is real and anyone who doesn't believe they are - well, you need to move on. I came home to pictures crooked, stuff fallen from shelves, drawers open. No one was home when it occurred. End of discussion. I really do resent implications that I would post a fake video. And the sound IS from the quake - they do make a noise

  • @1toppro The noise of earthquakes is what gets to me the most. If I happen to be awake at night or the quake is during the day, you can hear the far-off rumbling or sometimes a 'booming'. That really shakes my nerves. Oh, I live in Southern California. Hey, guys, it's been quite some time since we've had a major quake, and we keep hearing about them other places. We're overdue. Are you ready?

  • I posted it. It is NOT fake - I have four cameras and all of them shook - they are mounted on arms attached to my home and they are legitimate. There may be some shaking of the arm, but this was not faked. I take great offense at anyone implying otherwise. The water DOES have ripples if you both to look closely - difficult to see in small frame due to sunshine glare. Bottom line is I could care less what you think. I know this is real - and there is a time stamp to prove it.

  • The tree leaves dont even shake what a total idiot claiming the camera is shaking this much and what idiots anyone commenting that thinks this is real is!

  • @etristanb2007 You're the idiot here...I live in Manassas and i sure as hell fell that earthquake..If you look closer you can see the water ripples.

  • Than the person who posted this fake stupid video in the first place

  • This is fake look at the fence wood shakes in quakes no movement relative to the camera shaking. The water has no ripples waves or dispacement of any kind the objects in it dont move either. The wood pool chairs dont shake at all and no shakig object produces any noise despite all the wood objects on the property. The green life saver on the fence doesnt move at all which is lighter than te camera and thus would shake and move even more and produce greater noise. Anyone who buys this is dumber

  • @etristanb2007 Its not fake you idiot i live in manassas and we all felt it. If you look at the water you can see the ripples.

  • cool

  • @sardo...Well good for you. You realize that a) most buildings here are about twice as old as most of those in Cali, b) just about everything in VA is brick, and c) our buildings aren't built/retrofitted to conform to earthquake codes, right? Like it or not there was some extensive property damage. It's also something that not many people over here have been through, and this type of crap is pretty scary to people who haven't ever experienced something like it.

  • I love seeing all these videos with people freaking out... I live in california and feel about two good size ones a year. :p

  • @sardo97 Lol well from inside the Capitol office buildings where it shook hard enough to knock stuff off the walls we thought we had been bombed. So there was reason to freak out. An earthquake never crossed our minds .

  • @sardo97 what part of cali do you live in? last one i felt was the one back in 97.

  • @airmatt86 Right under san Deigo.

  • I was playing cod when it happened

  • I'm in Stafford, VA. We used to live in Manassas, I hope you guys were all okay!
