I loved the cheering roar coming from all around when they' come down, particularly from the direction of Meadowhall car-park, it was like listening to a goal being scored in a giant open-air football match!
The hole left on the Sheffield skyline by the loss of these two old friends is heartbreaking.

Hmmm. A shame, and despie the new baby and the fact I live 50 miles away, I'm sort of hating myself for not having made it down to watch.
I hope someone collected all the rubble so we can sneakily start re-building them?

I'm not so sure about the 'fun' aspect. It was certainly something unique and exciting, but not exactly 'fun' in the traditional sense.
