@ihfatite AFI is still a band. They just released Crash Love in '09. Blaqk Audio is working on a release for this year. Then AFI may start the process for the next album. which based on previous releases may be released in three years.

I regret I am not able to appreciate this. Thanks, but I'll skip the new AFI. If Crash Love was any indication, AFI has crashed and burnt; bless 'em for trying though. Course I like my AFI darker and more interesting. Blaqk Audio is where the brilliance is these days. So much better as dance musicians than they have any logical right to be. It makes no sense and I doubt they'll ever be huge, but I sure hope someday I eat those words.

Tbh, as i've grown my interest in AFI has waned (in part to the generic-sentiments of love and the duality of emotion) whereas my interest in BA remains strong (owing to the fact that it's more sexually-charged, adult and emotionally-articulate). But to each their own.
