He was not much interested in going outside. I used to take him out for fresh air once in awhile, but he was pretty wary of new places. Plus, he's an older cat, not so nimble anymore.
Alvin, I just found your video and love it! What kind of RV do you have? I'm thinking of living in one with my human staff of one. Oh, and my adopted sister, who I don't like that much but tolerate. How big is your rig? Thanks, Lydia (Oh, and do you really not like that tent contraption? It looks kind of cool to me.)
We found it was not uncommon for RVers to have cats on board. My biggest concern heading in was odor from the litter box in such a confined/shared space. However, we have always used "Feline Pine" litter and it really seems to eliminate the problem, even on the RV, if changed once a week.
Really cute video and like some of the other posters here, I'm also researching the RV lifestyle as we want to try full timing for about 3 years. We are from Japan and want to bring our pets, small dog and cat, so there is a lot to think about... :). I am sure my dog will LOVE every moment as nothing in the world makes him happier than the sound of the car keys or seeing his leash come off the hook. Not sure how my cat will cope though.

how do you keep your cat from sneaking out side ? isnt there the possibility of leaving the cat by accident some where?

Very nice! I'm doing research to see what it would be like to live on an RV with my 5 cats.

Yes, I took out the dinette. My owners never missed it and it allowed for two separate office spaces in the RV. -Alvin

Alvin, I like your rig. Did you take out the dinette in order for the dude to have his office? Just wondering. Regards, Nalani (the Himalayan)
