Great performance of a cool song! Juber does a really nice job of bringing out the melody of any song he does! Love Lakewood guitars... made in Germany! Blessings!
good song good cam angle people will be able to learn the song so post more sounds good, I have martins and taylers and gibsons but that lakewood sound good as mine.
No, I´m not japanese. What your heard is my son saying "óh pai"(oh dad in english). I´m portuguese. My guitar is a Lakewood M 14 cp custom. Thanks for your comment.
You are a good player, BUT, when the rhythm is that inconsistent it can be distracting. This song is more laid back. You should watch Bluephil do this one. He does it almost identical to the original LJ recording. I know this is a tough song, I've been working on it myself for several months. Hopefully I can post my version soon and you can give me some pointers too. I hope this helps because that it my intention.
Thanks Guitarman. I know the bigger problem is the rhythm and I´m working on it. I´m thinking of post an upgrade of this video because this was made 7 months ago.
I saw some of your videos and you play very well. Thanks again.
good technique, but since yu asked for criticisms...lol. Ok. guitar's a little out of tune, and you could stand for some toe tapping..rhythm's all ovr the place & so are the chord changes. U lose the structure of the song & the changes aren't in order, thus the structure is lost w/o any tempo. Just rudiments really..but, important ones. Slow down and feel it, instead of just playing it. Good job though.
P.S. LJ's version is nice, thanks for turning me on to it. Check out Monte Montgomery's version. One of our locals who smokes it and makes us feel like beginner's LOL. keep pickin'
I know it's not perfect and comments help me to improve. When I'm making the videos I feel less concentrate in music and always thinking in the camera, but making them is a way to share with other guitarists and get some comments. Now I'm playing it slowly and with more attention to time, expression and feel.
One day I will make the upgrade of this video. I hope I could forget the camera and play it with more concentration and felling.
thanks for taking this with a grain of salt cause your playing really is good. I know what you mean about the camera tho! I feel like someone is staring at me. And when I play at gigs, and someone tells me during the break..."man that was good!!"... I just think..."bartender...this man has had enough!!" LOL, we're are own worst critic aren't we?
hey man, amazing cover!!! where'd u learn it from
?

Oh thats good cuz "oppai" in japanese means breasts..lol... Again, great playing!

Hi Lakem think you did a good job, you seem to have the playing down, but your speed is up & down, faster in the harder parts etc.
watch Les Cheetham for tips and try out a metronome they're great for timing

Wonderful, but I can see you reacting to external stimuli (family).

Nice, one of my favorite tunes. Gimme a couple of years and maybe I'll give it a shot myself.
