Yes, her voice is way to high for this song, the guitarist is good, but the girl is not. Please, remove her from the equation, put someone with a voice registrar in the right key,and re shoot this video. Don't get me wrong, she has a good voice, just not for this song. the girl started way off key I think and then the key was too low for her, though I think she had some good notes, but it was too low overall for her to sound great. The guitar was good but over-powered her voice and she needs to sit up straight and maybe to stand and face the camera to hear her better- some potential but a long way to sound amazing- sorry I love emery and this song and so it was only ok for me

if you stand up it gets rid of most of the pitch stuff, and then open your mouth a little more, it makes it sound on top of the note, rather than reaching for it. :) keep it up though

Emery has to be one of my all time favorite bands. I saw them live and I have to say AMAZING. You and your friend did a great job on covering the song. I can see how some people say your voice sounds a little country, but I think it sounds good. A little too "throaty" in some parts. But overall it was fantastic. As far as the guitar goes, I haven't a complaint. Sounds great. I wish I could play.
