  • ok i think u made solving the first 3x3x3 white middle waayyyy to complicated, honestly i had 2 skip that part due to boredom :P

  • @Twizzlahs oh, except i like the complication on the yellow 3x3x3 part because that's where most ppl get stuck

  • damn..ive been trying all time

  • does anyone else remember mendork from dexters lab? i say no more

  • Okay since my comment in August last year I actually bought a 5x5 and realised that you couldn't, I still get lots of replies from this video though :P

  • i figured the 5x5 out on my own, i just thot maybe this wud b quicker, i cant stand watching stuff I alrdy figured out :((

  • 9:36 thats what she said ^^

  • i love your videos, but on later ones take less time explaing the simple stuff like paring, because if people are sovling a 5x5 they get this stuff.

    like this if you agree

  • hey its a lot easier if you solve the first center piece like a regular 3x3 only the first one tho

  • 58 people don't know anything

  • Fu

  • apuara daw insinnya kunamon qng no quere bo sinti dwele

  • will you fucking stop saying 'and as you notice, your gonna mess up the center. (then go into the same damn moves)' i thought you wanted to HELP your viewers. not annoy them.

  • @sleepyhead144 you're the only one getting annoyed by it. everybody else is getting educated by it.

  • @SzuesS ooh badman

  • Make a tutorial for the 11x11. ;)

  • @babbersabber yeah but as you'll notice, your gonna mess up the centers. ;)

  • good, but I can freak out when he describes some obvious steps... i bite my nails :)

  • @Petrhrabal

I rather choose someone who goes too much in detail, than someone that doesn't say any details.

It says that he at least puts some effort in it to learn it to you.

    Be happy!

  • I use a slightly different technique:

    1) make a 1x2 white block

    2) solve the rest of the fucking cube

  • suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuex

  • @RobH0629 I bought a 5x5 because I didn't know I had to know how to solve the 4x4 before and thought skipping to the 5x5 would be easier (defined center piece). Now I'm out of money and the online version of the 4x4 is too hard to control. Is it absolutely necessary to know the 4x4 guide before watching this video and understanding the 5x5, or should I be okay? If I 100% have to know how to solve the 4x4, could you plz suggest any links to a guide that will teach me without knowledge of the 4x4?

  • @TrufflePop it shouldn't be neccecary. I don't know how to solve a 4x4, but I was able to learn how to solve a 5x5 with no problem

  • @TrufflePop tbh, apart from the basic structure of the method, the 5x5 has not much to do with the 4x4 (except parity) It may even be easier (much much less parity).

  • you fucking suck ass this doesn't fucking work

  • Challenge of the day!: Count how many times he says "that" in the video.

  • if I could only solve this I will be a rubiks professor

  • it seems like he is yelling

  • Thanks!!!!! Pretty damn easy to solve the 5x5, i didnt have to learn anything new hahaha of course, i can solve the 3x3 and the 4x4 xD

  • i've done this one in 3 minutes :)) kinda got the ideas from the 4x4x4 :D thanks :D

  • I ordered my 5x5x5 cube a few days ago, cant wait to start solving it :] I agree with you that 4x4x4 usually has parity errors that really sucks :D

  • you rock

  • i solved all of the centers without the tut

  • you are AWESOME!!!!!!! you've helped me solve all my rubik's cubes(3x3;4x4and;5x5) so thanks. i'm following your steps and starting turtorials (i know its not spelled right) but i'm not very good at it:( so, thanks you are awesome and an awesome tutor

  • I never made a 4x4x4 but i can solve 5x5x5 :)))))

  • thanks i'm a long time watcher and this helped a lot

  • IdOl Can u Give me 1piece of rubic 5x5x5 PlZZ :))

  • It looks as it would pop anytime..

  • DudeYOU ROCK !!!!!!!!

  • got a 5x5 today, hop[ this thing helps, cuz my little cousin scrambled it when i wasnt lookin

  • how to solve a 7x7 rubiks cube???

  • also man after solving again and again 5x5x5 rubik's cube i finally realised when i touched my 3x3x3 cube that my finger are bigger or the 3x3x3 cube has just got smaller!!!!! thumbs up if you agree

  • no 2nd top comment??? here is my chance...

  • What's the best brand of 5x5 to buy?

  • @jesusfreak8877 the rubik's brand 5x5x5 professor, my guess

  • Nice video. I like how you explain things very slowly. god bless you!

  • so lets say i havent ever touched a 4x4..can i still solve the 5x5?

  • @mattandlukeshow09 It's probably not a good idea. You can but it is easier to pair the edges if you learned how to solve the 4x4

  • Is it possible to solve the center pieces like a regular 3x3?

  • @Mikea0228 i don't think so...

  • @Mikea0228 no its not.

  • @Mikea0228 no it is not possible. I can see how you would think so but it doesn't work because the algorithms do not work when is a border separating the edge pieces of this hypothetical 3x3x3. hope that makes sense. probably doesn't though :P

  • @Mikea0228 yes i tried

  • @Mikea0228 no because in a 3x3 the white piece will always be by a blue piece but in a 5x5 it always changes

  • @Mikea0228 No, its hard to explain but the 3 corner pieces on a 3x3 are bound together . making it easier. on the 5x5, the ones that appear to be 3x3 corners when you're solving the centers, can all enterchange

  • @Mikea0228 yes but it becomes 4 dimensional in a sense, if you can, bravo

  • @Mikea0228 no

  • @Mikea0228 yeah just move the sides with two rows.

  • @Mikea0228 lets imagine 5x5 cube like a 3x3 in a shell and imaginary stick the neighbouring pieces of shell to side components of 3x3 core, so ti will act like 3x3 solid cube. Then it will behave the way of 3x3. I thing im right, if not, tell me.

  • @Mikea0228 yes it is..btw its easier

  • @kwstassketo no way. you cannot solve the centers like a 3x3.

  • why am i watching this if i cant solvve a 3x3?

  • I love your shirt!!!

  • aaaaaaawwwhhhhh!! when i'm trying to get the yellow 3x1 center-row, the yellow center-corner that is left is already inte yellow center and I don't know how i'm gonna join it to the other two pieces without to screw the WHITE center up :( I have even scrambled it a few times and the corner is still there :((((

  • @zorkadoo oh now the centercorner wasn't there :) but in other cases when it is there what should I do instead of scramble it up ?

  • @zorkadoo Well you join a piece up, get it out of the way, than put the white back. Pretty simple for me =D

  • It's great how you dumb it down a lot. EXTREMELY helpful, thank you!

  • Comment removed

  • nice...this video helped alot(:

  • once you do the center on every side (dont really) take off the edges and corners its a 3x3x3 :D

  • sweet man thanks for help SUBSCRIBED

  • i think the 4x4x4 was much easier but i guess it is just a matter of oppinian

  • Thank u! May gd suck your dick....what? I don't want to...

  • Thumps up if you think it look way to easy when he does it!

  • Thumbs up if you dont even have a 5x5 yet! haha

  • i can solve centers on 3x3x3 rubix cube.. :P

  • has your cube fallen apart yet? -.-

  • hey rob where did u buy your 5x5 rubiks cuube?

  • Chuck norris dont need instructions

  • Don't read this because it actually works. You will be kissed on the nearest Friday by the love of your life.Tomorrow will be the best day of your life.

However if you do not post this to at least 3 videos you will die within 2 days. Now you've started reading this so don't stop. This is so scary put this

on at least 5 videos in 143 minutes and when your done press F6 and your lovers name will appear on the screen in big letters this is so scary cause it

    actually works

  • I just peel off the stickers and put them back on so its solved.

  • ur way better than any teacher but I learned the 4x4 from pogobat because he did something funny at the end

  • ur way better than any teacher

  • i take it back im a bad listener

  • pretty bad teacher not gonna lie

  • GWAH SO CONFUSING!

  • HI!

    my mom's getting me knock-off rubik's cube 3x3x3, 4x4x4, and 5x5x5 SO HAPPY!

ok well that's not for 3.5 months, but still

  • just solve it like A 4x4 It's way easier than this tutorial.

  • no offense, but i like pogobat better at tutorial :0

  • @iminahurrynoname Really? I couldn't understand pogobat's 3x3 tutorial, and, knowing how to solve a rubik's cube I STILL can't understand it. Rob's tutorial helped me solve the 4x4 and 5x5, although I can't solve either with no algorithm sheet.

  • can you not just solve the center of a 5 by 5 the EXACT SAME SAY as a 3 by 3?

  • i got one went i was 9 year old and now i still solving that

  • Is 4x4x4 Easier than 5x5x5?

  • @DaNoobMonkey Well the 4x4 is quicker to solve, but I wouldn't necessarily say easier. Usually more parity errors with the 4x4 and that usually sucks. Either way, I enjoy solving the 5x5 a lot.. more than the 4x4 I'd say.

  • @DaNoobMonkey 5x5x5 is easier

  • @millionsmillions Thank you.

  • "Sleeping Giant" shirt

  • Just got my 5x5 what is everyone's average solve and how long did it take to learn.

  • you should totally make a 7x7 tutorial :)

  • hey rob...can you solve an axis cube type D....or only the regular rubix's

  • fuck the advertisments!

  • Damn... I can't wait till my 5x5 comes in...

  • i just had an ad of 30 seconds wow youtube

  • what if you already knew the 3x3 but not the 4x4?

  • LOL. I don't even have a 5x5 cube, you're just fun to watch.

  • @pizzaman3088 haha me to

  • @pizzaman3088 That's kinda what he said.

  • you can solve that big of a rubix cube YOU ARE LEGENDARY

  • You have the best tutorials ever

  • Oh my goodness. I suck at math, dude.

  • That 5x5x5 is terrible

  • so annoying voice :P

  • hey rob i just got a professer and it moves terrible how do i lubricate it without disassembling it

  • @rubixwiz031 Take out the first layer. There's no other way to do it without taking it apart.

  • @KevieProductions What do you mean? Disassemble it?

  • @rubixwiz031 Yeah, but only do the first layer. From there, you can spray on your lube or use Vaseline or something and then reassemble it. Then you can turn a few layers to lube them without individually taking them apart, too.

  • @KevieProductions I did that with my 3x3. I put vaseline on for like 6 months but then i got my hands on some silicon spray, so i had to extract all of the vaseline, but i didnt do it well enough so now my cube SUCKS!!! Anyway, i got a hyain world record holding speed cube and it is freakin' awesome! Check it out on amazon

  • sleeping giant haha

  • Thank you!

  • thank you thank you thank you!!!! , i watched all this videos, and i finally did my 5x5x5 cube, thanksss!!

  • i smashed my face on your subscribe button

  • @TheCakeMaster2000 Everyone THUMB DOWN this SOB, I fucking hate spammers! Plus he's doing it to Rob, that's just pure shit! D:

  • My least favourite part was this part: 10:45

  • hey i dont have a 5x5 but i so have a 4x4 and 3x3 and 2x2 and im looking into how to solve a 5x5 and buy a 5x5 but i was wondering if it is possible to solve the centers imagining them as a 3x3 and solve it like that. plz write back thaks

  • I didn't even know there was something more torturous than the 4x4x4. I still stick with the old school 3x3x3. It's as hard as I like my puzzles.

  • thx soo much :D

  • in soviet russia, cube teaches you.

  • soo helpful I am going to get one in three more days so I have to know all that today so I can get a head start

  • press 0:01 to skip add

  • i wanna hit your face, it bothers me...

  • you go way overboard at explaining crap

  • Hey please make a tutorial for solving a 7x7x7. I need to know how . Message me if you make a video

  • wtf is this it shows a 30 second ad thing telling me to watch commercials then it shows another commercial

  • better tutorial at OptimusRey 's channel

  • YAY! DID THE CENTER THINGYS in movin on to part 2

  • great demonstration!

  • Hey Rob, how are you?

I'm averaging 1:55 now and have a best time of 1:28... thanks to this tutorial.

  • @izovire Hey man, I'm doing great. Haven't heard from you in a while :-) Those times are pretty insane, very nice. I think I've kind of lost it.. never had times below 2 though. Still enjoy solving cubes, just rarely have enough time to get into it like I used to though. Thanks for the comment, hope you're doing well!

  • @RobH0629 rob your the best

  • @izovire whoah you can solve this 5x5 in 1:28. That is awsome My record for the 3x3 is 1:26 nice

  • shit this is gonna take me about 2 hourse more than my time solving the 4X4X4 XD

  • if u use r'd'r d to solve the center its much easier

  • basically all we have to do is solve the center? i think im thinking to hard

  • cant you solve the first center on the cube like a 3x3 cube? Ex- first the cross, then the corners.

  • I got a 5x5x5 rubik in christmas gift :D

  • @SkillsVsLimit

    Me too!

  • @SkillsVsLimit I got a Rubik's Cube for Easter =)

  • @SkillsVsLimit Aww, I only got a 3x3!!! You are pretty lucky I must say

  • dude! THANKS THANKS AND THANKS!!!! I already know how to solve 2x2x2 and 3x3x3. . but i skipped learning the 4x4x4 because i don't have any. hahaha!

  • this looks lyk the kinda guy who would ruin a good joke

  • i dont even own a 5x5

  • nice house :)

  • I dislike advertisements!

  • Your video had loads of use for me, but DAMN u are anoying sometimes, repeating stuff way to many times. I was like YEAH YEAH I GOT IT! too many times. Nice tuts though

  • It's a good tutorial. I hope the other videos of this tutorial can help me. :)

  • For all you who think that the 4x4x4 is difficult: Think Again!

    It's not worth the skip!

If you know how to speedsolve a 3x3x3: You will have to learn TWO new algorithms!

    Hard???!!!

  • What brand is the second 5x5x5?

  • I really like your clips.. i have found out how to solve 4x4x4 already.. ths so much..

  • can you do a rubiks 360?

  • can you do a rubiks 360? and I like ALL of you tuts

  • Dam u are a good teacher.

    Congratulations.

  • Your at the RUBIK'S cube website!!!

  • You obviously look high.

  • I always solve the centres as 3 3x1 blocks. Just a matter of preference :P

  • haha tredges

  • does the corners have parody on the 5x5x5 like the 4x4x4?

  • this is boring to much describing

  • man you're very annoying.

  • Fudckit im going to burger king

  • woah you give a very thorough explination on how to solve the centers and im hoping the rest of your videos will be like this... thank you very much
