Ya, if you own a pc. like me, all you need to do is upgrade the video card every few years, which costs less than a console. my 6 year old single core amd athlon 64 3400+ is running crysis and call of duty 4/5 just fine! all i did was get a graphics card which costed 70 bucks. beats paying for a console. i already have a pc, why buy a whole different box, when i can do anything on my pc. i AM upgrading soon, and rebuilding my pc

First its a mac , everyone knwos that if it doesnt run a windows emulator on his mac , he will need to pick a Very few company that fully support both mac and windows.

Second , games on PC are alot more beautiful than on Consoles, and for the gameplay , for FPS / STR it is better to play those on a PC than a Console.

IMHO you are wrong if you think the money you paying for the 360 online is worth it compared to the PS3 free online service.

i don't see kids on the Online PS3, and yet on the 360 in every single game you will join there will be some little kid calling other peoples name with alot of cursed word every time.

The 360's Live service is, in my opinion, better. I seem to get quite a bit less lag while playing, amongst other things (like a more stable party system).

I see kids on both systems. While yes, there are more on the 360, it also makes it more fun because you can grief them until they quit, which is quite satisfying.

Windows =/= Microsoft. Just because you don't like one product of a company doesn't mean you don't like the company.

I like windows vista 64 , i've always use a windows base system ( tried linux once , and unfortunatly im too dumb to make it work properly ). But that is only because its the only OS that can work fine and is easy to use and is compatible with everything. they have a monopole...

Also , Microsoft isnt a great game company , in fact beside halo which is so overrated and Gears of war , which was fun for the 5 hours it lasts ... there aint many game that is made by microsoft that is worth for me getting a 360. especialy considering that , 80% of 360 game also are on PS3 OR PC.

Yeah, my PC is around 4 years old, and the only upgrade I ever made to it was a Geforce 8800 GT that I bought for around $100. It can run most of the new games, like Crysis, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, etc.

Very nice job on this video. People often forget that they buy a pc that costs atleast $500 just for their basic needs. Then you add about $400 to get a gaming rig. A console costs $200 to $400 so it ends up balancing out.

If you spend $700-$800 on a standard computer for work, education, whatever, it only costs around another $300 to making it a gaming PC.

I agree. Use it for software,internet,storage and the only upgrade I have made is a Nvidia card for $80 dollars on ebay and it came with a warranty for life. My system plays even the newest games flawlessly with better texture resolution and load times than a x360. The only time it ever crashed was when I installed a glitched sound card. And it is at least five years old. It's old but it's still fast.

You are wrong. Blunty was clearly not blaming the normal PC computer, he was saying that EA is too lazy to code spore PROPERLY for macs.

On another note... PC's ARE NOT the cheapest way to game. For a start, you have to have the right software/hardware and your computer needs to be updated ever year or so to keep up with games these days... They also CRASH and get viruses and have ALOT more problems than consoles.

I update my computer every 5 years.  Then again I build them myself so even though I only spend around $900-$1200, I get a computer that easily lasts 5 years.

I currently have a MSI K9A2 Platinum Asus motherboard, 9850 AMD Phenom CPU w/ 8 gigs of 1066 DDR2 ram and an GeForce 8800GT video card. Spent $1090 on it. Built it from parts.

I even have Vista Ultimate 64bit running on my system and I've had it running nonstop for 5 weeks now, not one single error, not one single virus.

And like I mentioned, I have to have a computer for my computer engineering classes. The bare minimum PC to do my work would cost around $650. So essentially, I spent $440 for a computer that outstrips any console system on the market today.
