  • @wlipman I saw that exact band - the band on the "Chairman Of the Board" album - in 1958! Plus, Joe Williams was with them! Whew!

  • Thanks to the Count and Neal Hefti. You can always whistle a great tune, they say. Well, this is a tune that would get the whole world whistling. A timeless moment in jazz.
