My friend has Passat 2003 130 hp 1.9 TDI, I have Opel corsa 2007 1.4 90 hp, he had no chances to 100 km/h. VW sucks.

@dominikwys one of my friends has a 2003 Clio hatchback with 1.4 98HP and another friend a 118d with 143Hp...in a straight line to 100-1... the Clio was equal to the Bmw. So it doesn't mather what car you have, you can't compare a petrol engine with a diesel one+ the Clio is lighter then the Bmw same as your Corsa is lighter than the Passat....

i can tell you also for a fact that a 1.2 16v corsa sxi is also quicker off the line than a 1.6 focus! and a 1.4 megane (meganes are french though i suppose so that doesnt really count :D)

Der 1,6er Golf 4 schafft den sprint auf die 100kmh in 11,7s und der Corsa C mit twinport in 12,5s und der ohnetwinport in 13s.

dann bist du aber falsch informiert :D! Denn wenn du das video rechts anschaust: "corsa C 1.2 Twinport 80 HP :)" Wirst du feststellen das dieser corsa es von 0-100 in 10 seks schafft! Also dumm gelaufen!

@S1lenC33 die angaben von werk aus sind 12,5s von 0-100 wenn er serienmäßig ist.

Davon gehe ich aus vllt hat der andere ja nur ne kleinigkeit am motor gemacht, weiß ich ja nicht.

ich hatte mal nen 1,4er golf 4 (75ps) da habe ich oft nen corsa b und corsa c mit 1,2l stehen lassen.

also wieso soll das dann nicht auch mitn 1,6er gehen der 25ps mehr hat ^^

vw might be doing good diesel engines, but their gasoline engines are very lazy... don't know why but they really are.

if you race with for example focus 00' and golf 00' both 1.6 both 100ps, and the golf doesn't stand a chance.

Never underestimate the estates, its the worst thing you will ever do. I think you will find its most of the estates in the outside lanes of the motorway, most of which are diesel turbos with some serious torque. My 2l diesel used to rape the saxo vtr up hills. An estate is no different from hatchback anyway.

it is my golf variant, it-s a 1.6 16v and the corsa is 1.2 sport, the golf have 104hp and the corsa 75 but the golf has 600kg+ and on this run i have forgot to switch of the ESP... but i have win with 15m ;)
