What is your stance on Krav Maga Luke? I enjoy my training and have learned a lot of useful things, but I have an obvious biased when it comes judging its effectiveness.

The question then would be how are you likely to survive an attack by one of those things..rather than be in a position to use one, which would be nice, if ideal. The tendency over hear is for a group of three guys, usually one with the dusters moving in on couples or groups of three tourists walking home from a night out at the bar... got any practice scenarios for such a thing?

But I can buy spades machetes, knives, katanas and other kind of weapons...That I think are much more dangerous than brass knuckles or balisong knives.
XD My uncle went to a store down the road that sells knuckle dusters with little nobs on them and they call them paperweights, but you just unscrew the nob.

I took it out to show my friends, same night I got into a bar fight with 2 bodybuilders double my age and size. that little thing saved my ass and left both guys in lots of blood on the floor. I realized though how dangerous it was and never used it again in a fight.

Thats awesome. Luke, do you have any problems punching with your left arm (assuming that you're right handed) or after long periods of hand to hand combat, have you become more effective with it? I feel that if I ever get/got into a fight, I'd be more inclinded to block, or grab with my left, and do the punching with my right, just because I feel confident that I know I can throw a decent punch with that hand. If so, is there anyway to "train" your left arm?
@KurzWebber Hello! If I may offer some advice, you may try training with doble baston (2 rattan sticks). This is how we Kali practitioners develop the use of the non-dominant hand in both armed and unarmed combat.
all this time i've been carrying a blade and a telescopic baton. i forgot about my knuckle dusters! i'm gonna integrate them into my carry system STAT! i'm not sure thought if they should become primary over the baton as a non lethal tool. i think the knuckles can be more mutilating since you're focusing on hitting the guy in the face bc u resort to natural punching. whereas with the baton you bang 'him' up wherever possible, arms legs, thorax, etc.
