You poor and ignorant people. The time is coming when you all will be judged, and I feel sorry for you all. Jesus Christ is the Lord! He is a living God! "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction." Proverbs 1:7
@KalimaShaktide Dude, snap out of it, you are being deceived. Wake up and see! If you choose death, then continue on. But Jesus can give you life. Jesus is the God of your god, man. He is the King if kings, and the Lord or lords. Quit letting you god fool you
Hovind makes another clumsy mistake. He says at 58:50 that "God gave us rights and that rights are [sic] "unalienable", which means that "you cannot put A LIEN against them". In fact, the concept is that rights are "inalienable", which means that they cannot be ALIENATED, i.e. taken away. You would think that with all of his grammatical and spelling errors, he would lose credibility as a school science teacher for 15 years.
Hovind makes a clumsy spelling error..and keeps on going with it. He comments that the waters were "asswaged" at 52:00. And further states that the word "asswaged" (which almost looks vulgar) is very important as it means "dropped right down". Well, he got both the spelling wrong and the meaning wrong. "Assuaged" means to make milder or less severe or to calm. His "important" point as to how the waters receded is clearly wrong.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

I am not a scientist. I am a linguist and a lawyer. Others can point out the errors in Hovind's scientific claims. But, the amount of spelling and definition errors that Hovind makes is just terrible. Anyone can simply go to a dictionary or a reference grammar and discover for himself that Hovind is repeatedly wrong.
Additionally, I am not an atheist. I am a theist, albeit not a Christian. I have no particular bone to pick with Hovind.
Here is a true dramatized story about a Muslim who put his life at risk when he became a Christian. At the age of 13 he was made the Iman of his village because of his knowledge of the Quran.

@iloveyertle "I'm going to go replenish the IQ points I just lost." This had occurred in all the public schools in America for over 3 generations. What do you suggest is a remedy for the failed zombies that are graduated every year. We, as Christians want nothing to do with the mess you goddess people have created and please pay for all of it yourselves.
@BereanBeacon1 I'm not here to start an argument with you; being a former Christian myself, and a devout one at that, I know all too well the futility of trying to present a creationist with conflicting views, not matter how easily it can be proven.
Believe whatever you want, I really don't care. It is when christians try to dredge this shit into schools alongside proven science, and censor helpful resources, that I have a huge issue.
And "mess you godless people have created?" ..How exactly?
@iloveyertle There is no such thing as a former Christian and many believe that they are but have not received the free gift of God. The schools are run by evolutionists and we DON'T want your schools. Here is an example of real education before you people removed God and the Bible.
Education in 1895 vs. "Education" Today - h t t p://w w w DOTyoutubeDOTcom/watch?v=PTYdXJJKzHc
@BereanBeacon1 Now you're going into the "No True Scotsman" fallacy, which isn't even worth refuting. If you're going to reply, I'd appreciate some well-thought-out responses as opposed to your sinking to the level of ad homonym.
You don't want the schools? Okay, public schools are run by the government and its funds, and the government is a secular institution. If you're opposed to this, there are christian schools. You may invest your money into those.
@BereanBeacon1 Your point...? that has nothing to do with religion whatsoever. That has to do with a lot of different factors... socioeconomic status, lack of motivation, pregnancy, participation in crime, compromising circumstances, etc. You can't make a valid argument stating a correlation between the secularism of schools and dropout rates. Correlation does not prove causation.
Also, a quick side note: youtube videos aren't "resources." I urge you to go read a book without a cross on it.
interesting theory, but it's impossible. i use to believe in evolution myself, until i found out the theory of evolution disproves that human beings ever evolved 'naturally' from any living or dead being ever found on Earth as we have DNA chromosomes that have been 'fused' together making a creation story the winner(not magic hands in 7 days though, genetic manipulation as it pretty clearly spells out in the Old Test). anyways the flood was under 5000 years ago, and bones don't turn to oil.
@loagun that theory was disproven as well. the Earth makes the oil. it works something like this; your body makes it's blood/mucus/'lubricant' itself, not the dead parasites decomposing inside your body, or the dead dust mites on your skin(yes, every human being has parasites and dust mites living on/in them). again, interesting theory, but it's a tad bit off....
@loagun omg i commented before i started watching the video (i googled the 'theory' while i was letting it load some...). now i have to revise my original comment... so let's just Pretend the Earth was created 6000 years ago(apparently you read the Bible wrong... I don't even go to church, but even i know the Bible clearly says god made a New Heaven & Earth for the 3 versions of Adam aka a Kingdom+paradise to live in, not the planet) you think bones 'turn' into oil in a cpl thousand years?
@loagun Prove with evidence that genetic manipulation caused the fusing of two ape chromosomes. At the moment, we have evidence of a common ancestry, and you have superimposed unscientific ideas onto it. Also, there is no evidence in a great flood.
@LoneRookRS1 nice key word 'Prove' - that means your a troll. here I will give you the subject, and how about you go research it yourself. 'The Human Genome Project' then try and Prove to me with scientific evidence there has been no genetic manipulation to Human DNA - and PS I said nothing about apes, if that is your idea then you are sadly way to under-educated to even be commenting on this video.
No evidence of a massive flood you say? No? Are you for real? lol. Prove that to me! Please :)
@loagun There is no evidence that some God or alien creature tampered with our DNA. There is no evidence of a worldwide flood. Not really a matter of proof, more a lack of proof. 'God of the gaps' nonsense.
@LoneRookRS1 what a beautiful comment that provides absolutely nothing to the subject you are commenting on. I just gave you one source, and your reply is 'there is no evidence of...'. Well sure, if your willing to remain ignorant by choosing not to look at the evidence then you ignorant by choice, and your sufferment of being a defective human is your own fault. Your words have no power in the subject. You should really be moving along to another video now such as a dot on a white screen.
@loagun You mean the human genome project? That doesn't indicate we evolved unnaturally. You haven't provided any evidence, only smart arsed patronising remarks designed to provoke (just like a troll). No evidence of a worldwide flood either. Feel free to suggest any.
Theres no nice way to say this Folks, this guy sounds like my grandpa. He is doing the best he can with HIS limited knowledge of the Bible and HIStory.
Praise JESUS! I no longer stand under this knowledge but I OVERstand it.
153=The ORACLES of GOD
The Hovind Theory is Just that! A Man thought of Theory, it is as out dated as the Flat Earth.
153=JESUS WORDS
and Jesus words alone blow the Hovind Theory to H*LL!
Careful about spreading lies to the 153=Body Of CHRIST!
I agree that everything was formed quickly not over millions of years, however the world wide flood I do not believe. I do not believe water was above the earth. In the earth is different. I also believe the earth did reach temps around 300 below around the polar regeion
@2011is2012 due to orbit change/ wobble from impact or interaction with unknown orbiting body. I believe the shells we find on mountains were from a wave not a flood, then the waters slowly went back to original position. I believe mountains were formed overnight by plate collision and massive earth quakes were felt world wide. This is all due to some unseen planet or force.
@gregrutz Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. John 8:43,44
@Americant47 "His contentions have been widely reviewed by those he's refuting." ...and refuted. George Cuvier and Alexandre Brongniart proved in 1811 that sedimentary rock was laid down during an extended period and that there had been a faunical succession. You will never find homo sapiens remains in sandbian layers but you'll find Nemagraptus gracilis and you won't find ammonites in layers much younger than the Maastrichtian layers. Do that and you'll get at least Honorary doctorates...
I love how Hovind calls his own theory "the Hovind theory". It is mearly an untested (by Hovind) hypothesis. it is just one example of the enormous hubris of Kent Hovind. To call it a theory it has to be widely tested and peer-reviewed "other" geologists (I don't count Hovind as a geologist by the way). Who even believes in lies and misinformation like this??
You do not seriously believe what he says. Do you know that it was known, since 1952 if not earlier, that EARTH is 3-5 BILLION Y old? And, contrary to popular belief not only by "radioactive decay"
I keep hearing of creation "sceince". I would like to see It. If someone might point me in its general location thanks. looking for thair so called logic is like looking for unicorns, the bible says they are real but nobody has ever seen them.
@kelleyd1000 All evolutionists have is hot air on the mostly anonymous Internet. We have the real science backed up by the $10,000 Life Science Prize. You can evolve from a chicken and win the prize or make cowardly remarks on websites until you ultimately die and become a creationists after it's too late. My last remark to you is something that everyone understands: CLUCK, CLUCK
Kent Hovind is not a scientist. All his degrees are in christian education. His doctorate is not even from an acredited institution. He's arguing from authority but really he has no scientific credentials at all.
@Volksverhetz Creationists are very interested in real science, not science fiction.

@BereanBeacon1 Instead of continually challenging the people that understand biology to a contest held in a forum specifically not designed for science, why not challenge the creationists to take their evidences into the actual scientific arena?
Do you think creationists are too scared to try real science in the forum where real science is done? Because what you're doing now is comparable to issuing a biker build-off challenge and holding it in an emergency room.
Not a theory... less than a hypothesis. Lacking any evidence to bring it beyond the "a good idea that makes me seem smart and lets people feel better about being ignorant!"
@mcmadbat3 if Jesus rose from the dead thats way more then a snake talking ;) ... many more greater things u can find in the bible and that were proven scientifically ... things that seemed impossible ....now who are u to talk about all this?? ur just a small flower that today is but tomorow wont be no more without Christ!
Not going to debate anything here, but mad props to Eye2EyeIIIV for sending this bullshit to me. Take your slam-dunk proof of god, and shove it up your ass.
He was a science teacher for 15 years and he didn't gleam anything from the scientific method. Without his fictional bible Hovind would have nothing to teach here.
@soulure He has the famous Astronomer George Dodwell on his side 20:00 . He died 1963 and he is so famous that there is no entry on wikipedia for him. George Dodwell was the government astronomer for South Australia. South australia was a super power in science in 1963 with a population of 1 million.
No No No... you got it wrong too, god wasnt alive at the time and Ur mom farted creating the gas giants and some poop came out causing the creation of the planet of boob, mars, mercury, and the others and then came god the talking bananna and he led all the bannanna men through the ocean to sexually molest and inpregnate the humans causing a titticopalypse, the time where boobs took over the earth and then the planet of boob exploded causing the creation of earth and
@xsonnysx Once and for all, the REAL truth is that God was created by the Master Program in TRON, then the Aliens came to destroy Adam & Eve because she had an affair with a dinosaur from Jurrasic Park, and they had a prophet child named Paul Moadib. But then Ltn.Ripley took a flamethrower, and destroyed the Aliens, the Queen and all the eggs, with the help of Nute, 969 light years ago during daytime, cuz they mostly come at night... Mostly...
lol, this irritates so many people. They just scream BULL SHIT because it goes against all they've been taught by dear old teacher. Don't you just love the sheeple? I used to be an old earth supporter, but I kept an open mind. How many caps will be followed in reply to this message? All I'll see is "BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Evolutionsts have plenty of stories they make up, but really they have no idea what life was like millions or billions of years ago.
I'd like to see this ID-iot try to prove his points with REAL science and WITHOUT using his damn Bible. That piece of crap has been translated thousands of times in history into hundreds of different versions. Chances are its messages have been twisted and distorted through that time. Throw that book in the trash and STUDY ACTUAL SCIENCE, you tax frauder. There is nothing scientific about religion. Religion is about faith and beliefs. Science is about FACTS and REALITY.
@729pete Study history a little bit before you put up these dumb assumptions. bibles have been translated all over the world and when compared to each other, no matter how old they are, they are all the exact same story.
The needle on my bullshit detector has just vaporized. There just isn't a scale high enough to measure this against. I'm going to go before it starts raining bullshit on my head.
Well, this is what happens when academics fail to publish after earning their degree. They go batshit crazy and exploit ignorant people for as much fame and money as they can. Then they say communal living is the work of the devil even though the very Christ they follow preached nothing but theocratic communism.
Even at the beginning, God Destroys the world because of GREED! Yet, communal living is bad.... Cognitive dissonance anyone?
people close their eyes and shake their head and say God did it
and then their are the others that close their eyes and say science did it
YOUR BOTH AS BAD AS EACH OTHER
you will find out the truth when you die, carnt you just wait
Isnt it better to life a good life and the bible just gives more reason to do so, but now because some people who couldnt see through it and just see its a way to live a good life know we have a shit hole to live in, THANKS non belivers and religion extrimists
The one thing that makes sense is the thing about how fast you can freeze a mammoth.... but then he goes into how something can be petrofied quickly so... who knows... maybe something can be frozen quickly given the right conditions
"if yall are going to be atheists then at least be hindu because that is an mor optomistic thot of atheism"
lol, you have to be the most uneducated fool i've yet to encounter on here. No wonder Kunt Hovind video's appeal. If somebody was a Hindu then they wouldn't be an atheist would they!! Do you actually know what an atheist is??
Incidentally, the founding fathers stated quite clearly that church & state remain seperate. What will you deny next, water's wet??
I'm sorry? Is English not your first language? If i've decyphered your comment correctly then i think you reject the fact of evolution, is that correct? If so then may i ask what it is you've discovered that's remained hidden to the entire scientific community for the past 3 centuries? I'd also like to know why you haven't yet published your findings & why you haven't been to pick up your Nobel Prize?
This is awesome. First vid I've seen where atheists have nothing to say about science, just getting pissed cuz they know they're wrong and cussing everyone out. I love it! Hahahahaha
NO NO NO... You have it all wrong. God was in fact a human dinosaur : Godosorus Bullshitus, that could live 10 000 years old, he was living with Adam & EVE Online in Iceland, under a layer of FIRE, not water in the sky, and then in year 969 where everyone had oral sex orgies, UFOs got angry and destroy the world in a flood because of global warming, and it was more refreshing that way ! Then everyone became Mammoths ...Simple.
@xsonnysx then the whole earth went into the age of orgasm causing the creation of mammoths, and the mammoth were actually egg and when the eggs were ready they exploding and the humans hatch out. Mom: and thats how babies are born jimmy. Jimmy: Yay! .... Simpler
@Ozzalin I'm sure an evolutionist & ancient alien theorist would come together with a theory like that... without god. Then call the story fact, of course, without any proof.
I see this is going to be a non-starter *sigh* Please, before going any further, familiarise yourself with the nature of scientific enquiry. Understand that every claim in science MUST go down the implicit route of peer-review & stand up to intense scientific scrutiny ie. scientists can't just make something up & get away with it which is what you seem to be suggesting. Evolutionists also are not by default atheist, that’s absurd & very naive.
@Jmay1719 Your comment is so idiotic on so many levels. We are atheist because we believe in what we can observe in reality. It has nothing to do with what is more or less optimistic only what is reality. "In God we trust" wasn't printed on money until 1956 so I don't see your point. Your education shines through in your comment's poor grammar and spelling, there isn't any wonder you believe in god. Get an education and stop speaking English like a ghetto urban rapper who loves drugs.
THIS IS JUNK! I mean it's ok if you for example believe in God, people will respect your beliefs, but mocking science with this crap is just too much! Just hate when people do that. People might want to find the meaning (for those who thinks there is a meaning) of life through religion, and that's not weird, but this guy's views are just disturbing.... "average age before the flood = 912 years" LOL
@RGScentral Science is just a scapegoat for people to get out of having to answer to someone. Funny how everyone believes in God when they're dying right?
"Science is just a scapegoat for people to get out of having to answer to someone."
Don't be so ridiculous! Science has brought you EVERY SINGLE THING you own, have owned & ever will. Science is agnostic & begins with a neutral default stance (unlike religion). It has increased your life expectancy by 50 yrs, it's put man on the moon, probes on distant worlds, split the atom, transplanted organs etc. etc. etc. yet when it comes to evolution, they've managed to get.........
........it so spectacularly wrong?? lol, that's nothing more than the wishful thinking of an unlearned, superstitious mind. As Stephen Hawking recently said, “There is a fundamental difference between religion, which is based on authority, & science, which is based on observation and reason. Science will win because it works.”
Science has very real results ie. medicine, technology & agriculture. Christianity has brought NOTHING other than 2000 yrs of bloodshed & repression. I think........
"Funny how everyone believes in God when they're dying right?"
What a stupid, baseless statement. No, that's not right, where did you pluck that little gem from?? We wouldn't know which god to suddenly start to believe in to begin with! I hope you're not going to use the spurious example of Darwin allegedly recanting on his deathbed, it's utter bullshit.
@ReptilianFreemason: I know this from people I knew, also people I know who told me about others. Why do you get so mad when I post? Is it because you're trying so hard to block out a God to answer to? People believe in Christianity when dying. I mean look around, which countries are thriving? Why & how would the universe even exist? Nothingness? Big bang? Why was there a random atom of energy in the first place? And if i I'm right what have i got to lose? if you're wrong..
(1) So hang on, you're evidence is that 'somebody' told you? You reject the scientific consensus on the basis that somebody told you? *facepalm*
I don't get "so mad", don't flatter yourself. A little frustrated at uneducated arrogance & wilful ignorance perhaps, but not mad, i rest easy at night i assure you.
In regards to "blocking out god", that's like saying that you block out the invisible potato in your nose, utterly ridiculous, HE DOESN'T EXIST!! Do you ‘block out’ Thor?
@ReptilianFreemason Science doesn't have 2 answer everything all the time. U follow scientists around like an obedient puppy. I don't believe everything Christians have ever told me, I'm allowed to have an opinion. btw, I wasn't trying to make you mad, don't flatter yourself. LOL@ You screamed when I even suggested authority over the all knowing Freemason. Mithras. Lets see the Roman Empire fell apart pretty good correct? On the other handConstantine was pretty dang successful.
Science is the search for answers using the evidence currently available to us, it has never claimed to have all the answers. If all the answers were known then there would be no requirement for science. It's the bible that teaches us not to ask those questions, to remain ignorant with the lazy-arsed logic that 'god did it'.
As for following "scientists around like an obedient puppy", science encourages you to question everything & to look at the evidence yourself.
You're free to study, test & refute any scientific claim you like, the fact nobody has been able to overturn evolutionary theory after 150 yrs of intense scrutiny speaks for itself. Have you any idea how many predictions have been made using evo theory? All confirming it time & time again. How do you justify this, lucky guesses?? You clearly aren't aware of the evidence, if you were you'd realise how pathetic your argument is.
(2) How about Mithras? You believe in god because the bible says so, you believe the bible because god says so & you keep on going around & around on this merry-go-round of baseless superstition.
To say that "people believe in Christianity when dying" is quite an assertion. Totally specious none the less. Why you've assumed that i do not know but it's not even worth addressing as it's complete rubbish.
You’ve asked far too much in that one question, one step at a time please.
@ReptilianFreemason And nice attempt completely and utterly ignoring my questions. So I'll ask again. "Why & how would the universe even exist? Nothingness? Big bang? Why was there a random atom of energy in the first place? And if i I'm right what have i got to lose? if you're wrong.."
" And nice attempt completely and utterly ignoring my questions."
Apart from your questions being ridiculous & child-like, i did say that we can only cover so much at a time. In answer to how & why the universe exists is, we don't know. If only you fucking brain donor's would admit the same then the world would be a lot safer place. We don't know how or why the universe began, we DO know however that life, once established on earth evolved into the diversity of........
The difference between scientists & religiotards is that you simply give up & say 'god did it' (how you arise to this conclusion still baffles me), & scientists look at the evidence & use to it form substantiated conclusions that can be tested. Which one do you think is the most reliable & impartial? The one based on authority or the one based on observation & reason?
There was no "random atom", where did you get this from?
This is what i mean, why the hell would you speak so arrogantly about something you have no understanding of?? It's like somebody who can't subtract running into a maths department screaming 'Calculus is a lie!'. You don't understand the basics, what chances do you have of understanding quantum mechanics??
As for your next stupid question of what if i'm wrong, that's known as Pascal's Wager, look it up. It's well known & fundamentally flawed.
Let me put it this way, what if YOU'RE wrong & say, those billion Hindu's are right? Vishnu's going to kick you arse lol.
"I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours" - Stephen Roberts
@ReptilianFreemason I wasn't trying to be arrogant. Also you're talking to me like I am an idiot. I make much better grades than you would expect. I am taking Calculus soon. Also, I don't agree with money hungry liars who use Christianity for their own benefit or excuse to kill. Pascals Wager? I'll pass I don't understand how that can answer such a simple question. I don't believe in other religions because they seem flawed in lots of ways. btw I am not using Christianity to trash talk Atheists.
1 - Let's start again then, i am more than happy to have a civil debate with you.
Did you look up Pascal's Wager? Do you understand why it's not valid?
As for you not accepting other religions, you can't honestly tell me you've looked into them all? It is no coincidence that you happen to live in a country that's predominantly comprised of people of Christian faith & i imagine (though nearly every single person you speak to & ask on here deny it) your parents are of the.......
@ReptilianFreemason Yes, my parents are Christian, I'm not gonna lie, and I believe in Christianity because it seems to explain things better than any other theories/explanations I've heard. (Ex. Carbon dating doesn't work, making many theories invalid.) I'm not here just to argue with everyone but just to try & see if I can show anybody my pov for themselves. Sorry for taking so long to respond I have been busy and I barely have the time right now.
I appreciate your honesty, it's quite refreshing as just about every other creationist i've encountered seems to be a compulsive liar who has to lie to validate their beliefs. It sounds to me though as though you've simply been misled through no fault of your own.
What do you think then about what i said about you being a Christian because your parents are & about us being products of our environment? Does that make you think? How does god choose who's 'lucky' enough.......
@ReptilianFreemason Ok, here's the deal, God doesn't give everyone equal opportunities because we all don't serve the same purpose. Its that simple. I don't believe in the dating method because there are FAR too many variables that can slow or quicken the process; Heat Contamination for instance. There have been dating tests done on cooled magma from recent volcano eruptions that are said to be "millions of years old" according to the tests. The trees require dating? No? Even if these things...
I'm talking about babies being born into non-Christian families. How can an unborn child not "deserve the same purpose" as another?? Did they commit sin prior to the womb? That makes no sense.
Dating methods are accurate no matter what you or any other creationist ignorantly claims. You do not understand how radiometric works as we both know. People who do have no issues with it. Just ask yourself the question, is it mere coincidence that the only people who question.......
......it just so happen to be creationists (just as the only people who reject evolution are)? It speaks for itself.
Certain things are more dificult to date than others & samples are easily contaminated. Creationists play on this fact & this is where these specious dating results you speak of come from. It isn't however a true reflection of the accuracy of dating techniques as any geologist will confirm. I can actually put you in touch with a Christian geochemist who.......
......specialises in the zircon dating of rocks if you wish? She will answer any spurious queries you've heard.
No, trees don't "require dating", i never said they did, but trees can be dated by their rings (dendrochronology) & we have trees that are over 10,000yrs old. There are also innumerable, conflicting facts such as it's known that the Native American Indians arrived on the shores of America 13,000 - 15,000 yrs ago. How about ice cores, coral clocks & other natural dating methods?
........to be born in a Christian state of Christian parents? Do you see what i mean? It's hardly just is it.
Now, radiometric testing being unreliable is nonsense & is only said to be by creationists. Speak to a scientist & they'll tell you different. Our dating methods are extremely accurate & reliable & creationists hypocritically, have no problem with it when dating things they believe strengthen their spurious, religious argument. This is just another typically.........
@ReptilianFreemason 2) are that old, God started Adam&Eve out older from the start correct? So why not everything else? Some science has flaws, as well as some Christian scientific explanations. But the question that science can't answer is why does anything exist at all? The very fact that the universe exists makes no sense. The reason God doesn't just make it obvious to everyone is because my belief requires a thing God teaches called Faith.
Adam & Eve?? These people did NOT exist, how can a grown man possibly believe such infantile absurdities?? The Genesis account of creation is CLEARLY an allegorical story. Even if this were true & god did create everything 'old' to begin with, why would he do that? He would know how that would confuse mankind & trick them into believing the universe is very old, therefore, once again setting us up to fail. In which case, what kind of deity do you worship??
...What relevance has this? Is this supposed to be evidence for the Abrahmic god of the bible? Just because something isn't known in science doesn't excuse the lazy, stagnant & debilitating claim that 'god did it'. It's science that will bring us the answer to such questions, NOT religion. If it wasn't for the repressive nature of religion, we'd probably have answered this by now. If all questions were answered then there'd be no requirment for scientific enquiry to continue.
Regarding 'faith', i'm afraid that faith to me is intellectual suicide & no deity would ever require such a thing knowing the conflict, bloodshed, torture etc. that it would result in. He'd know full well that man would use this to control the masses, a child could work that out. Faith ie. belief in something that has zero evidence, is lunacy & it's CLEARLY man who came up with it as a tool to stop people from asking questions. They then throw in lines.....
....such as 'the fool hath said in his heart there is no god', just for good measure. It's so blatantly obvious, i truly cannot believe this crap has survived for so long. If it wasn't for man's need & tenacity to live on in an afterlife then it surely wouldn't. Give it another century or 2, I’m confident that religion in the civilised world will be obsolete.
You need to stop accepting everything you’re told. Question everything & don’t take science from creationist sources.
@ReptilianFreemason Is someone becoming frustrated? For once you didn't use a single "theory" and you just called it crap and wrong for 4 comments. I am explaining why I think everything is old from my point of view and you can't think of anything to counter that so you just say its wrong? I'm sorry but when did this go from a debate to an argument? The Bible doesn't give all the answers to everything. So I don't know where you got that from. btw, I'm not a grown man. I'm 15.
........dishonest, desperate & futile attempt by creationists to undermine scientific enquiry. It wouldn't matter if we didn't have any dating techniques, we have more than enough evidence to confirm evolution from just about every scientific discipline. Hell, we have trees older than what creationists say the universe is! lol
Don't buy their bullshit, science doesn't lie, creationists do.

Hovind isn't a scientist, he's not a doctor, he's not even a real science teacher, so why do people even listen to him??
demoskunk 4 months ago
Hovind makes another clumsy mistake. He says at 58:50 that "God gave us rights and that rights are [sic] "unalienable", which means that "you cannot put A LIEN against them". In fact, the concept is that rights are "inalienable", which means that they cannot be ALIENATED, i.e. taken away. You would think that with all of his grammatical and spelling errors, he would lose credibility as a school science teacher for 15 years.
pupsenok 5 months ago
@pupsenok "Unalienable: incapable of being alienated, that is, sold and transferred."
Black's Law Dictionary, Sixth Edition, page 1523:
Inalienable rights: Rights which are not capable of being surrendered or transferred without the consent of the one possessing such rights.
Morrison v. State, Mo. App., 252 S.W.2d 97, 101. You have your facts backwards. So, your a linguist and a lawyer, and I am the Queen of Sheba.

BereanBeacon1 5 months ago
@BereanBeacon1 I'm not here to start an argument with you; being a former Christian myself, and a devout one at that, I know all too well the futility of trying to present a creationist with conflicting views, not matter how easily it can be proven.
Believe whatever you want, I really don't care. It is when christians try to dredge this shit into schools alongside proven science, and censor helpful resources, that I have a huge issue.
And "mess you godless people have created?" ..How exactly?
iloveyertle 5 months ago
@iloveyertle There is no such thing as a former Christian and many believe that they are but have not received the free gift of God. The schools are run by evolutionists and we DON'T want your schools. Here is an example of real education before you people removed God and the Bible.

@BereanBeacon1 Your point...? that has nothing to do with religion whatsoever. Correlation does not prove causation.

interesting theory, but it's impossible. i use to believe in evolution myself, until i found out the theory of evolution disproves that human beings ever evolved 'naturally' from any living or dead being ever found on Earth as we have DNA chromosomes that have been 'fused' together making a creation story the winner(not magic hands in 7 days though, genetic manipulation as it pretty clearly spells out in the Old Test). anyways the flood was under 5000 years ago, and bones don't turn to oil.
loagun 7 months ago
@loagun that theory was disproven as well. the Earth makes the oil. it works something like this; your body makes it's blood/mucus/'lubricant' itself, not the dead parasites decomposing inside your body, or the dead dust mites on your skin(yes, every human being has parasites and dust mites living on/in them). again, interesting theory, but it's a tad bit off....
loagun 7 months ago
@loagun omg i commented before i started watching the video (i googled the 'theory' while i was letting it load some...). now i have to revise my original comment... so let's just Pretend the Earth was created 6000 years ago(apparently you read the Bible wrong... I don't even go to church, but even i know the Bible clearly says god made a New Heaven & Earth for the 3 versions of Adam aka a Kingdom+paradise to live in, not the planet) you think bones 'turn' into oil in a cpl thousand years?
loagun 7 months ago
@loagun by that theory every mummy found on Earth would have been 'oil' by now, not 'mummies'. okay i'm done.... try again.
loagun 7 months ago
@loagun Prove with evidence that genetic manipulation caused the fusing of two ape chromosomes. At the moment, we have evidence of a common ancestry, and you have superimposed unscientific ideas onto it. Also, there is no evidence in a great flood.
LoneRookRS1 7 months ago
@LoneRookRS1 nice key word 'Prove' - that means your a troll. here I will give you the subject, and how about you go research it yourself. 'The Human Genome Project' then try and Prove to me with scientific evidence there has been no genetic manipulation to Human DNA - and PS I said nothing about apes, if that is your idea then you are sadly way to under-educated to even be commenting on this video.
No evidence of a massive flood you say? No? Are you for real? lol. Prove that to me! Please :)
loagun 7 months ago
@loagun There is no evidence that some God or alien creature tampered with our DNA. There is no evidence of a worldwide flood. Not really a matter of proof, more a lack of proof. 'God of the gaps' nonsense.
LoneRookRS1 7 months ago
@LoneRookRS1 what a beautiful comment that provides absolutely nothing to the subject you are commenting on. I just gave you one source, and your reply is 'there is no evidence of...'.

ReptilianFreemason 1 year ago
@ReptilianFreemason: I know this from people I knew, also people I know who told me about others. Why do you get so mad when I post? Is it because you're trying so hard to block out a God to answer to? People believe in Christianity when dying. I mean look around, which countries are thriving? Why & how would the universe even exist? Nothingness? Big bang? Why was there a random atom of energy in the first place? And if i I'm right what have i got to lose? if you're wrong..
shortballerz 1 year ago
@shortballerz
ReptilianFreemason 1 year ago

Did you look up Pascal's Wager? Do you understand why it's not valid?
As for you not accepting other religions, you can't honestly tell me you've looked into them all? ReptilianFreemason 1 year ago

ReptilianFreemason 1 year ago

The reason God doesn't just make it obvious to everyone is because my belief requires a thing God teaches called Faith.
shortballerz 1 year ago
@shortballerz
(1)
Adam & Eve?? These people did NOT exist, how can a grown man possibly believe such infantile absurdities?? The Genesis account of creation is CLEARLY an allegorical story. Even if this were true & god did create everything 'old' to begin with, why would he do that? He would know how that would confuse mankind & trick them into believing the universe is very old, therefore, once again setting us up to fail. In which case, what kind of deity do you worship??
ReptilianFreemason 1 year ago
@shortballerz
(3)
...What relevance has this? Is this supposed to be evidence for the Abrahmic god of the bible? Just because something isn't known in science doesn't excuse the lazy, stagnant & debilitating claim that 'god did it'. It's science that will bring us the answer to such questions, NOT religion. If it wasn't for the repressive nature of religion, we'd probably have answered this by now. If all questions were answered then there'd be no requirment for scientific enquiry to continue.
ReptilianFreemason 1 year ago

2 - .......same faith (it's not exclusive but is generally the way). You are a product of your environment & if you lived in a different part of the world &/or in a different period of time then you'd no doubt have very different beliefs. Surely you can see & accept that?
As far as i'm concerned, Christianity is fundamentally flawed on numerous levels. I refer you to the Stephen Roberts quote from my previous comment about us all being atheist.
