another one i liked the look of that you may be interested in is the devi ever mangler - a joystick operated poweless mixer thing....

Swear away! :) Really fun pedal with the right things in the loop. It especially loves interacting with the gate on the Noise Box. Lawrence (at ohnoho) seems like a standup guy too.
I would take any of the Manglers - I guess Dwarfcraft has licensed the bit/synth/dream and is doing the new production runs. Have you checked out the Electro Faustus EF103 Guitar Disruptor? Sounds cool, and reasonably priced.
