The old band members obviously hold some nostalgic value to a lot of people, Billy included (that was D'arcy's bass in a coffin in the Zeitgeist book, along with the old sp heart) but he is the man behind the curtain, the puppetmaster. so we agree to disagree on who's playing the parts Billy wrote, and we agree that we love the music. I love Billy Corgan and although he is by himself now because of what some might say is his ego, isent it Billy's revolutionary ambition an constantly changing styles that have allowed the pumpkins to play so long. Not many real rock bands are still doing well today but Billy has managed it. With him there it will always be the smashing pumpkins.
