And By the way I am ABC (american born chinese) and My 1st language was actually Spanish because my godparents(not related to me by blood) babysat me while my parents were busy at work and they are Columbian, and I learned Chinese from my parents at the same time and my parents wanted me to have my heritage in me so they didn't teach me english til I started school and I never went to an ESL program because kids pick up languages fast

In my opinion teachers either fail at life or want to have lots of free time. Expecially language teachers. But there are exceptions and obviously you will be one. ;)

I "only" speak 3 languages, but I am happy with German, Italian and English (Latin doesn't count). Spanish might be easy to learn for me, since I know both Italian and Latin, but I never really had a chance to learn it. I looked a bit into Chinese and it just looks so difficult ... I could never learn it.

This was really interesting as a relatively new viewer (I began watching your videos around April of this year, I think) since I really didn't know most of this. I've always wanted to learn more languages (I've been a French Immersion student since kindergarten) but I heard it's much more difficult to learn a language when you're older. How is it learning a new language at your age?

alot of effort, but the thing is i just love speaking then so i am willing to put in the work. Luike chinese, alot of late nights learning characters, but i love it! im weird like that.

where some people do really well at maths or sciences, languages was always the thing i gelled with.

I actually got interested in vlogging when I saw a Frezned video. I thought he was really cool so I started watching more of his videos and some of his videos featured or were responses to mememolly and Nerimon so I got interested in them as well. I saw how all these people were making up a community based on viaral videos and I wanted so badly to be a part of it.

I know what you mean by the teaching thing.. Some teachers have really made the subject interesting for me, and some teachers totally ruin it, and I've always had huge respect for the ones that can make the subject interesting. My favourite english teacher could, to put it simply, kickass. She was amazing at what she did, and not everyone liked her because she got really into her job and wasn't the type who wanted the students to LIKE her, she just wanted them to learn the most that they could.
