no yngwie plays a blonde 1972 strat. known as "the duck" it has a scalloped fret board. the neck is maplewood and has a 60's style headstock. he uses rosewood and maple fretboards. his guitar has 21 frets and he uses dimarzio pickups. the strings he uses are fender super 3250L. the machine heads are schaller F tuners. but no its not gold.
