@MrAD0w i use the yellow Axe paste, its shiny if you put it on dry hair but if you put it on damp or towel dried hair you will get that just got out of bed look and for the hold make sure your hair spray is non glossy or non shiny and you'll be fine

I bought forming cream by American Crew comes in that same exact container only it has a green top to it. It has medium hold and medium shine ( I like a little shine on my hair, since it's black) and it is 100x better than any gel I've ever used. My dandruff problem has also disappeared, most likely because the American Crew creams don't have any alcohol that irritates my scalp. It's worth the money.
