I read your post on TV Forum (can't respond there as my account's been locked for inactivity), and comparing this to the videos on the Sky News website- I do believe the graphics on the footage on the Sky website are original and genuine (minus the logo and clock anyway), they are exactly the same as what you see here, I struggle to believe they'd have recreated them so faithfully (especially as nit has the FTSE ticker, they'd have had no reason to recreate that and have it accurate).
@2001JamesTV. They are not exactly the same. Look at the Live DOG. The version on this video has space above and below the word live, the version on the Sky News website not so much.
It's possible they recorded the graphics in non video format. Maybe they recorded the meta data for the graphics and then played them back through different equipment some time after 2001. Like the slight difference between rendering something in FIrefox and the same thing rendered in Chrome. This would explain why the timing seems to be accurate between the two videos but the graphics are ever so slightly different.

i was 4 when i saw this.i was playing outside on my scooter with my friends across the road and i came in for some lemonade for me and my 3 friends and i saw my mum and dad watching sky news and i stared at the telly.there was a building on fire and i called my friends in and we all just sat there sucking our thumbs.my sister came home from school and we did nothing else but sit there.i live in the UK.i had nightmares for the next 3 days about areoplanes that were going tom crash into my house..
I live in the UK, so you can see what time of day it was for us by watching the video. When the planes hit I was in a High School Maths lesson, then after that went on to a Science lesson. I didn't find out about the tragedy until 3:10pm when my parents came to pick me up in the car. Really can't believe it's been 10 years already.

I remember someone cracking a joke that the pilot was drunk flying and we all laughed until we saw the 2nd plane crash and they said we were under attack and then the pentagon was hit and there was reports of the White House was next and bombs were exploding in DC..very scary day

My mam saw this happen live. It makes me sad that I was four years old and it was just a normal day at nursery. I wish I could have been older so i could pay respect when it was happening. I was 17 at the time, in work and listening to it on the radio.
I returned home on the bus and watched the aftermath of the event (some 5 hours).
I remember seeing the shock on peoples faces, terrorism on this scale/of this type was unheard of.
Sure, I'm 27 years old now. But any younger and I would not have understood it clearly nor have heard it live on the radio.
There are teenagers 'today' who hadn't lived through that event, and I kind of feel proud that I had.

I remember this. We heard about it at school and thought it was a big joke (in the UK). Here we are 10 years later, and I can't believe I was so stupid back then. My Mum saw the 2nd plane hit the other tower live. She described it as "Horrifying, because seeing it happen and knowing it happened at the time it was live is different than watching a video, knowing that people just died, even though you couldn't see them." My Dad was a dick, and said "It's not over here, so it doesn't matter".

I was at school in the UK when this happened. We heard about it as we were getting on the bus to go home. The driver had the radio on and was telling the kids at the front what he was hearing. I was sat at the back (because i'm well hard!) and by the time the whispers got to me they were saying that hundreds of planes had been hijacked.
It made me realise that whenever something like this happens, a government releases conflicting evidence that we debate forever and the truth never somes out.

My mam saw this happen live. It makes me sad that I was four years old and it was just a normal day at nursery. I wish I could have been older so i could pay respect when it was happening. Although I wish it never happened at all. @bigderekkeene There's no doubt that governments lie time and time again, but in this instance it simply doesn't make any sense that a conspiracy is happening. Al'Qaeda even did the same thing a year earlier - Google "USS Cole" for the suicide bombing of a US boat.
I understand it's an emotive subject for Americans, but not every big event is a conspiracy. Elvis died, Michael Jackson died, President Lincoln didn't invent peanut butter etc. ;)

@bigderekkeene If you knew the history prior to 9/11 of the radical Islamic threat to the USA, and the prior attack on the WTC in 1993, then any analyst worth their salt would automatically have come to the conclusion that Osama Bin Laden, a lynchpin of Al'Qaeda - one of the dominant Islamic terrorist organisation - would be a prime suspect.
Too many people looking for conspiracies left, right and centre. Nobody denies the 1993 attack was via Islamic terrorists, yet 9/11 is different?

If the structural integrity of just a few of the dominant pillars was weakened, the outcome would have been exactly as what you're witnessing on this video. All this conspiracy bullshit happens as a direct result of people's lack of understanding of the laws of physics and engineering. Anything that you don't understand will awe and thrill you. But any structural engineer worth his salt will know that the temperatures involved in this incident could easily have melted steel. The melting point of steel depends on its carbon alloy (how much carbon the steel has in it.) ALL steel/carbon alloys have a melting point of "only" 1000+ Celsius,so there's nothing conspiratorial about the collapse.So much ignorance out there.
