Yep you can use your MP3 songs as ringtones. There is even a program on the phone you can download that edits MP3s for ringtones called Ringdroid.

There's an app to take a part of a song and turn it into a ringtone, but I forgot its name. Check the Android Market.

3) Go to any music you got and them play

4) Menu

5) use as ringtone
