Did you pick one machine and master that, or can you transfer the muscle memory to other machines easily? I've never seen anything like it. You seem to use only the same voices that are possible to be layered on the drumset. Like you've transferred your drum voice to the machine voice.

Its probably an Alesis HR16 drum machine. as opposed to HR16B which is the same machine with different sounds & is Black instead of gray.

expression pedal for the hi-hat's openness, it chicks when he slams it shut, and it determines the type of hi-hat sound that is played. realllly recrucial in things seems expressive. expression pedal.

I had 2 HR 16's..they are silver and YES the keys were unresponsive. They also had the SR16 (processed sounds) which was black.
