  • lol good memories i still have my dc and im playing this game .... =9 long live to dreamcast im afraid to used my dreamcast im afraid that one of these days my dc dont work xD arggg !! that is the reason for i play jusss 2 hours at the day xD My dreamcast have 10 years and still working and i was played like 6 hours at the day in that yesrs now i played 2 hours at the day xP

  • Nice I used to do this with hard tires lol -- memories

  • And for the hornet, well, if you manage to know it's max allowed speed for each turn, well, you'll be able to show off on the arcade machines (if they still exist :P). But another tip: for each hornet's max turn speed, try adding 20mph more when using the unicorn, oh, and try not to be too rough with the steering with this last car, it may ruin everything...

  • Oh, and a tip, for the unicorn, you'll get the highest speeds, but be careful when applying throttle again, do it gently and you should be fine. If the tires start to lose grip, release the gas and reapply throttle gently (use this to avoid losing control when touching grass and sand pits).

  • When I had a Dreamcast, I used to unlock this car for my friends! I think that I still know most of the speed limits for each turn with the hornet and unicorn for most of the tracks. Try figuring them out and you'll never have to drift anymore!

  • screw PS3, wii and the xbox. Im gonna get a nice old dreamcast.

  • I agree, I also wanted to chuck my PS2 out the window and take the good old Dreamcast.

  • yeah ps2 looks pretty horrible tought with it's darkend graphics and low texture use.

  • Drifting in this Daytona was difficult to really manage. You kind of just had to hope your car had enough angle to make it around the turn.

  • Yeah, the steering was very sensitive, and you're unlucky, if you're using the Japanese version, you are unable to change the steering settings.

  • Then again, CCE was also rather stiff.

The only one with really fluid drifting seemed to be the original game.

  • I see that is from A VHS.

  • I recorded this a long time ago

  • how do you drift?

  • @Eric4372 how fast does it go in Automatic and Manual transmissions

  • Great music ! Sega style !

  • OMG! I have this game and I got the DC today (my first one died out)! Even though you did some mistakes, you're a great driver! BTW, did you use the video camera to record it from the DC or an emulator?

  • Recorded it to tape

  • Classic.

  • Hey, isn't it better when you do some errors ? That proves you're human after all...

  • LOL. Instant classic.

  • It's okay to make some errors, but when you make errors every time, you want to break the controller. I'll take the WR anytime, baby.

  • trying to unlock this car makes me want to break the game lol

  • lol great

  • Love the REAL NASCAR sounds.

  • Nice run Eric.

  • In the words of Paul Walker......,"Thanks bro"

  • good driving dude my lap best is only 1:36 & ur 1:34;big diff

  • I can remember filming the movie and it was about my 10th try at it...I was really getting on my nerves, so I ended up choking a bit, but oh well, I swallowed my nerves and finished the race.

  • *Should've impoved my racing lines a bit. When I downshifted, I ended up killing a bit too much speed at times. Also, I should've come in at the apex and come out wide more often.

*Rubbed the wall on 2nd lap. Didn't really have a set line for that turn; I just wanted to turn and slide into it. Ended up hitting the wall a bit but it wasn't too bad.

*Hit the grass at the end of the race. That was just a dumb mistake.

  • This is an old video. Might as mention some things I could've done better:

*In the tunnel with the TVs, some pros bump against the wall. I really had no idea about that two years ago, plus it would've been harder to execute with the slippery Unicorn car.

  • Hey rjay! I'm pretty sure it's Medium tires. If not, then I'd pick Super Hard. Have to check my game because the tires look too thick to be SH.

  • Nice one Eric43! Releasing the accelerator to initiate drifts is something I haven't tried with the Unicorn. Can I ask what tyres you're using?

  • BLUE, BLUE SKIIIIIES!

    Classic.

  • Yeah!
