Cubone then evolves into Marowak and it was originally intended in the first gen of games that Marowak would then evolve into a Kangaskhan - but due to last minute changes, it was decided instead that Kangaskhan would have no evolutions. The extra code would be too time consuming to completely discard so they put it in an empty spot with no number. = MissingNo.

I had this 'M and it went to lv 100 from 0 exp.

It evolved int Kangaskhan, and then i battled it vs a Horsea. Then it went back down to lv. 70. I don't know how it happened. Also I caught a Missingno Ghost Form and it turned into a lv. 171 Rhydon. Then i battled with it and it went down to lv 100. Finally, I caught a lv 172 Nidorina.

Origanly Female marowaks were supposed to evolve into kangasken at the last min they changed there mind and scaped the idea into a empty folder The evolution code was in that folder Causing thing were missingno wasborn missingno stands for missing number SO it would make sence that missingno would evolve into kangasken but i dont think it was ever really anounsed that missingno was not a glitch and really a Scambled up cubone

For the people who dont know: missingno is basically a marowak. And originally the evolution line was supposed to be cubone--marowak--kangaskhan. But they removed the evolution of marowak to kangaskhan because kangaskhan did not have an (appropriate) description. The description talked about the offspring of kangaskhan (cubone) and how it takes it mothers skull and uses it as a helmet and a bone for a weapon. And i guess game freak decided it wasnt kid friendly so they removed it. And from what
