  • Who is that chorus member that is totally flat?! ugh. But the lead are fabulous, I almost dont hear it

  • I'm in Anything Goes! this summer, & I'm REALLY hoping to get Hope!!

  • Hope's voice is incredible!

  • she has a good voice :)

  • her hair doesn't really seem like the 30's style, and it's all up in her face.

  • Only thing I can comment on is her hair! No hair in the face! Other than that, this was awesome! My high school is doing Anything Goes this year, and I want to be director. :D

  • come on, didn't they need to give that girl the hideous wig. I can stop looking at it. Her natural hair would've been fine

  • Billy cant hit the low notes

  • That was actually very good for high school!

  • @shstheatergrl I did this in high school as well and guess what? Our Hope SUCKED!!!!

  • I love those costumes.

    =D

  • I did this so many years ago!

  • Their voices are pretty good and they seem to be well casted. Over all its a great performance. The only thing I have to say-and this is no fault of the actors- the whole thing sees a tiny bit over choreographed and the way she breaks the forth wall at 1:11 seems awkward and highly unnatural. But other than that, they've got great potential for their futures. Tell them to keep singing

  • the leads are very good performers!!

  • that boy can sing.

  • Congrats Moppa824! I hope your whole cast breaks a leg as you guys get started! we just had our first practice...jazzed!

  • I was just cast as hope...i'm so nervous!! But excited. They (in the video) were great.

  • @PennyLane713 I was was just cast as hope, too!!!! this video makes me excited for it. :D

  • hope is my sister

  • they are both such amazing singers.

    they will go far.

  • I luv Jeff as an actor....he is so talented. He is goin to go far in acting and singing.

  • hmm, the excessive choreography kind of kills the romance, you don't really need to pantomime the de-words

    otherwise great job!

  • She's great, but the guy has to get the lisp out of his singing when he's moving.

  • i played "hope" in a play:] shes a fun character:]

  • Baha Adlai Stevenson High in Sterling Heights is doing Anythine Goes in the fall xDD

  • no, but we had a cabaret and the "billy" from our anything goes is in it, plus he sang "viva la vida" at one of our concerts, if you want i can send you the link things=]

  • when does the chorus sing? i just got cast as chorus and i cant find any music that is sung my the chorus... help someone please?

  • this is probably late and i bet you already have the answer, but whatever. idk iwhat you're doing in your school, but the chorus didn't sing at mine.

  • this is hot hot hot

  • This is really good, but I can honestly say that our seventh-grade billy was better (but he's been performing since we were both in second grade...)

  • I like the lyrics used in this version, they're less repetitive. When I was in high school we did the newer version. Id have to say our Billy was a much stronger singer, but thats partially sentimentality this is well done.

  • He is sooooooooo gay,,,,,,,

  • very nice for a high school production. break a leg kids

  • The movie however does not resemble anything of what the actual play portrays.

  • good job, my troupe is gonna do this musical, i'm looking at all the different performances

  • you guy's weren't very natural in your movement. It wasn't fluid, it was jerky i guess you could say

  • LOVE this song. My drama troop does a good job with it too :)

  • Hope and Billy definitely look the part.

Hope's voice is beautiful, but this is set in the 20's it should be a bit more jazzy. I think Billy needs a little work on vowels though. lol

My school is in the process of putting on this production. A week left until opening day!

  • It's set in the 30s. They make a lot of references to the stock market having crashed.

  • This is my song in our play :)))

  • Oh strange, my school did the 87 version last year then I guess

  • Where are these new lyrics coming from? And why did she sing that whole middle part?

  • Its probably the version from the 60's... The version from 87 has the dance break and is sung by both Billy and Hope and no one else.. That's the version we're doing..

  • Her voice sounds kinda like Jodi Benson at bits. And I can't put my finger on it but she sounds like someone else too. Any ideas?

  • voice of ariel in the little mermaid, right? yeah, now that you say it, i can hear it.

  • I played her before I loved the part! Good luck! :)

  • my school is going to be doing this show in the fall. I'm nervous because we are not a very stellar dancing school... at all. I actually was thinking that this could have had some better choreography. Fun stuff though!

  • she has a lovely voice but she's WAY too poppy... this is old school musical theater, not christina agulera.

i mean, dont get me wrong, GREAT voice, but she's too poppy.

  • the video rocks! my homies are in there! fosh!

  • I was there during the performance. The guy is an amazing actor but his singing...meh... Fantastic as a couple though! I've seen professional performance of this yet SHS was as good if not even more enjoyable!

  • gr8 brill fab welldone

  • Brutal...or sexy? That's the real question here.

    LOVE the performances btw.

  • It's a brutal wig.

    Jeff

  • Great Job. I really liked the girl who played hope.

  • really good job. i really like the hope, and billy's really good. they're cute together.

halfway through, the ensemble members that start singing sound AWFUL.

but the billy and hope are good enough to save the number. luckily.
