With the hardware you may be able to run op to Doom 3 or even Quake 4 or comparable. I hope Raon Digital releases this in Europe. This is remarkable for an Ultra Mobile. It isn't cheap, but well worth the money. In multi-threaded software the CPU may perform like an Athlon 64 3200+ or even a bit better. All of that with a very low TDP. Not even the Via Nano is likely to reach that performance if my information is correct.
I have even been able to run OS through Vmware workstation and Parallel using this. For example Windows 2000 and Windows 98 emulated for those old games that never run under compatibility mode in XP.
It even has above minimum specs to run Red Alert 3 which I will test some time.
Even though Raon have not released this in Europe, I had no problems getting hold of one from Supergps. I recommend them 100%.
I finally got round to trying Quake 4 and it is playable as you will see from the clip. I will check out Doom 3 requirements. Apparently Quake 4 is multi threaded or at least designed to take advantage of dual core.
I wouldn't let the recall discourage you from buying one of these and I say that even though my first unit had to be returned for this exact reason.
I was given a new unit as a replacement and I have not had any problems since. One good way to test the unit when you get it is to run a CPU / RAM stress test such as Orthos for a few hours while monitoring temperatures by using Core Temp as well as making sure the underside of the unit near the CPU does not get seriously hot.

Some one has managed to run Crysis on this so will be testing this one out later too.

I'm very impressed with the graphic capability of this device, I'm just a little worried about the recent recall.
