If you don't understand why kid cudi wants to quit weed than you never really understood kid cudi. You are excatly the type of person kid cudi does not like and complains about in his music. He has grown up from a very dark chapter in his life. He was using weed to escape from being extremely sad, lonely, and lost. He has obviously found that he can now live without being high 24/7 which shows he is maturing and becoming closer and closer to that pursuit of happiness.

@hibachii I said that he made his music under the influence of thc, I listened to his Capcom track and it sounded great. What I was trying to get out was that the majority of his hits were under the influenced. I personally don't care if an individual smokes or doesn't smoke its their life choice. Don't come pointing fingers about whether or not im an individual who Cudi doesn't like because you're making that assumption yourself.

@doubletroubledaily Ok, you may think that he should continue to smoke weed because he makes great music while under the influence, but hibachii is right. He want's to do whats best for him, and yeah his music might be better while under the influence, but we don't know if it's bad or good while not under the influence. He's starting a rockband now, and it's his choice, its what he wants to do. Regardless of him smoking bud, i'll probably still enjoy his music, even if its work.

You have no idea who Kid Cudi is, you dont know him personally & with tha cud quiting smoking weed is kinda weird, knowing he has a song called "Marijuana," and was interviewed by High Times, more than once, and explained his love for pot. Also, all of Man on the Moon 2, is about being stoned, and listening to his music high.
