I think that the recent revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt expose the west and it's pseudo-democratic processes, take Australian politics for eg. The Labor party decided they didn't like the democratically elected PM & replaced him with Julia Gillard but she was not voted in by the people, the Australian people did not even get a say. Need I also bring up the way George W bet Al Gore? A small panel of elite & powerful people. This was not democracy. These processes excluded the common person.

In the Gurardian Weekly there was an article about the Egyptian army arresting Egyptian citizen and torturing, beatin, intimidating and warning them not to go back to the square again. There were foreign journalists also arrested but allowed to go shortly after arrest. Would you like me to send the article or do you have it already. It is a worrying development, I hope it is only isolated soldiers who are doing this. It is important it be made public. Thanks for your help.

@Graham6762 i think you would notice that most things that make sense in nature, in life, are all double edged swords, the whole point of life is to defend it against all odds. It finds balance, and if there is no balance, then life ceases. i've usually heard people complain about how us humans are supposed to be perfect, and that life should always be good. i think they've got it backwards, life tends to be hard and we have to think up ways to adapt, and live against what nature dictates.
