One guy says a stupid thing = the whole movement/party thinks the same. In this case, the "Tea Party Nation" is only a part of the movement. This is the association fallacy kind of logic pushed by the Media. Elections are decided by this shit.
Ridiculous idea. Lots of people pay tons in taxes but they prefer to rent. This is especially true in major cities like New York, Boston, and San Francisco and I don't have to tell you how those people usually vote.
@weedipikia gee I wonder if it has to do with anything to do with the rent restrictions they have there....being a landowner there with a bad tenant can make the landowner go bankrupt....how would you feel if you bought a property and mortgaged it ( I'll use NYC price example) you buy a condo under market value for 500,000 and the value goes down to 100,000 so your paying a 5000 dollar mortgage for a place that you cant sell bc you are underwater so you rent it for 2000 then they stop paying
@weedipikia in place like new york they may have the right to stay there for three years ....so now someone is living in your place not giving you money and you owe 400,000 and this lasts for 3 years at times...I like florida the longest they can stay is 3 months tenants vote themselves rights and steal from landowners that is why they shouldn't vote...anyone if they wanted to can be a land owner...and dont think im high on the mighty dollar because I'm renting right now and jobless
part of the reason you had to be a land owner to vote was a way to limit it to only whites without actually coming out and saying it, as a way around it. Just like there were other restrictions that said you father or grandfather had to be born there and/or also have owned land
All you TEA PARTY IDIOTS can see is that a Black Man got elected President and you hate that to the core of your existance.
