  • @mercior lol you lazy fuck, you stole the archlord hotkey bar.

  • awsome song!

  • MY GAWD thats amazing!!

PS what is the song that is played?

  • Nice work

  • can it be online?

  • @doublesob No.

If it was made in Flash, Java, or Javascript (Yikes) then yes.

But it was made in C++ so No.

  • @autonomous2010 lol you can make advance games in java to. its only when you make games like cod or bfbc2 then you are talking about c++. else c++,java,c#

  • amazing! can you make your own scripts ,put your own models there?.What programing language?

  • whats up with using the Bauul model from Sauerbraten(Cube 2 engine)?

  • heh, most of the models were ripped from quake 2 character models i found lying round on the net.

as this project was purely just to make this video, and not an actual game I was going to release, I decided to 'borrow' various artworks like these models & the HUD graphics

  • Your GUI looks like Archlord Online

  • cool :D

  • it has taken me three days to do something like that.Plus, iam ten (for real)

  • Looks like a realm crafter game imo. You could make this in a few minuets with realm crafter. I swear even the battle system looks the same and the animations.

  • Go play 2moons...

  • I'd play this if there was loot in PvP and a selection of gear.. i dont mean 10 im talking like 100 different weapons lol

  • lmao i should of watched the whole video before i asked that stupid question :P the one under this one haha

  • are there things to attack?

  • I have a couple of questions.

    1. What program did you use to make this.

    2. What did you use to learn the programming.

    Please tell me.

    Awesome design though 5/5*.

  • Visual Studio 2005, C++

    + Irrlicht 3d Engine

Theres many many C++ programming resources on the internet, just search for some tutorials.

  • @Conker303 I recommend Dark GDK it goes along with Visual Studio C++ 2008, completely free of charge. The hard part is learning C++ haha. I am still learning.

  • The song is from "the good the bad and the ugly" and the engine is Irrlicht

  • Comment removed

  • 3D Engine please? xD

  • Thank you very much!

  • 2 songs,

    1. J Ralph - One Million Miles

    2. Metallica - The Ecstacy of Gold

  • @mercior actually, it s Ennio Morricone for the second one :)

  • @mercior The Ecstacy of Gold isnt Metallicas and nothing about it is Metallica. Its Ennio Morricone and it was written for "the Good, the Bad & the Ugly"

  • Song pls?

  • its in c++, and yes its the archlord bar :p

its just a demo i was making, not a real game for release

  • What is the song ?? pls tell me

  • hello im a 14 year old hope one day to create a massive video game can you tell me at this age what do i need to study and is there anything i can play around with please give me a link

  • you and i are in the same boat, iv been looking around at the elder scrolls morrowind construction set... it has nothing high tech, but it has its advantages. you can delete the game and start fresh actually, and barrow things from the game to change this... but its rather difficult sometimes. iv been useing it for about 8 years now, and im still going over the basics sometimes... but you can find tes 3 morrowind online for cheep. dirt cheep.

  • It takes years to learn a programming language. For me, I had to take three classes in C++ in college in order to even learn the basics before I even got to the cool class that teaches you how to make graphics and sound in a game. Basically, don't rush yourself, be VERY patient. Programming a game is not easy and much different that programming a normal application. Read and rape every programming book you can find and eventually after much trial and error you will understand the concepts.

  • lol read and rape.

But anyways thank you for the advice. I'm taking it to heart.

  • @hexkwondo it takes years going at a casual rate.. if you were really serious and focused you could probably learn enough c++ to create a demo like this in like 2 months.... thats 2 months of just reading and learning tho

  • @brendan123746 2 months??

    Nonsense. Blasphemy even.

I would say a year. But that includes skills such as 3D modeling, Sound/Music creation (either synthesized or with an instrument), and the math skills involved for 3D placement, rotation, and collision.

I love computer programming but its more of a passion than a profession. For now.

  • archlord bar..
