I'm loving Gibson's potential. The only way to up your basketball IQ at the point is experience, so I can't wait to see how it all pans out.

Its not like Delonte is putting up ten assists a nite or 10 rebounds a or is a shut down defender so the onli thing i can judge him on is how he puts the ball in the basketball. I am a fan of the NBA sir and more importantly a fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers. I want wats best for the team and giving Boobie the contract made more sense IMO... But you disagree... So lets agree to disagree

Lol you cant argue him being way better when he averaged a measley one point better than Gibson in the playoffs... Both of them right now are not nowhere NBA superstars... But if I had to choose one player just based off potential it would be Gibson. West's offensive game will never be better than what your seeing now. I can guarantee you and put money that Gibson's game will be way better than it is now. You would choose West I assume and that's ok. Denver is rumored to be looking at him now

The question is what has Delonte West done???? At least Gibson is clutch... You cant say the same thing about Delonte West... Just because the Cavs only use Daniel only for his wonderful three point shooting doesnt mean thats all he can do. If you watched any of the 2007 ECF he wasnt jus spottin up. He was taking ppl of dribble, shooting off the dribble and spottin up. You give Delonte way too much credit.

Delonte west just hit a game winner against the wizards in the game 4 if i remember correctly. He also has the ability to be the controller of the game that gibson can never ever be. He plays better defense than gibson. And the only reason he may not shoot better than gibson is because he has to create his own shot which he does a hell of a lot better than the spot-up Damon wannabe.

Ok he might have hit a game winner but Gibson has proven to show up big in close out games. 31 points in 2007 ECF game six, 22 points in 2008 EC First Round game six. Delonte is not the God on Defense that you make him out to be. He is better than Gibson... I'll give you that but other than that Delonte is not that special. How come he couldn't beat out the other point guards in Seattle. To prove my point, Danny Ferry made his decision on who he valued more. Delonte was jus a stopgap.

he could'nt beat out the other point guards in seattle because they already had a commitment to earl watson and were still split between luke ridnour as reserve point and kevin durant at shooting guard. And I never said that he was a god on defense, I stated that he was a hell of a lot better than gibson was. Delonte can make plays. If gibson was so fuckin raw, why wasnt he the full time starter? West came in right outta the trade as the full time starter. And he averaged more than gibs.

Gibson likes coming off the bench thats why he isn't a full time starter. Eric Snow was on one leg... Thats why Delonte was starter by default... Gibson likes to come off the bench... Doesn't mean he can't start for Cleveland. Gibson was injured for a significant time and then didnt get back into rhythm until playoff time So ur average more point is very dull... Delonte averaged a point more in the playoffs... he onli averaged 10 points in the playoffs ROFL.
