  • Well take a positive look at this.

Your car gets cleaned in front of your house.

    Your home windows are clean.

And you dont have to give the grass water for months now.

BTW, its called a microburst, but there is nothing micro about it. And it is "only" 92 miles a hour.......

  • over 9000!!!!!!!

  • I was in this microburst...I was out by our chicken coop & couldn't get back inside to our house the winds were so strong! Not something I'll ever forget

  • this is the nightmare of pilots I hope to never be in something like this and is even harder if its on a high level

  • I got hit with a microburst in northern VA, it sucked, it torn down a 100 year old tree and a powerline pole hit my car.

  • Whew! What a storm.

  • some people get the best luck of seeing what a true storm can produce. Great Job fellows!

  • it always seems the sky is green

  • Boy, that just keeps going and going, comparatively speaking. Others I've seen on YouTube pass much more quickly.

  • When I was younger we were camping when a microburt hit. We had to get up in the middle of the night in the pouring rain and wind to take down our awning. Our house was about 1.5hrs away and what we got camping was just a glimpse of the real wrath that struck in our town. Trees down, road signs blown away, debris everywhere. The neighbor across the street watched the whole thing happen. Said it was just like a wall of wind swept down the street. Crazy

  • So it's just five minutes of rain? =/

  • weegee stare hit the town

  • The person filming this acts likes he's so smart, but meanwhile he thinks it's a tornado and tells the othe to look out the north window to make sure nothing comming. Bro ur a fag. I was in one of these today in a diner and the door swung open and trees uplifted right away and I live on long island Suffolk, mount Sinai. This is biggeststorm we ever got n it's called a microburt.

  • @stewiegriffen12345 ...Just shut up.

  • @stewiegriffen12345 yeah u probably wouldn't know tht if it was tornado or microburst before u watched the news....

  • that looks like a lot of rain... probably an inch in 5 minutes. never seen so heavy rain, and the wind is incredible too, but its not a tornado for sure. overall, very nice video :)

  • That was incredible...and kudos for a great video. What a storm.

  • holy crap i've never seen anything like this!

  • Are you sure this was a microburst? It seems fairly long lasting with winds blowing in the same direction. Looking at this footage I would have guessed a derecho.

  • OMG! Love it all the way. I wanted to say it was a rainwrap tornado but the winds never changed directions. FANTASTIC VID DOG! :D

  • The microbursts out here in the plains are often a strong or stronger than the eye wall of a hurricane. But we dont get surge from an ocean.

  • I've lived in Hutchinson Ks my entire life and I've never seen wind like that, pretty close, but storms seem to avoid us here, most of the time they split, weaken, or jut around town

  • @lionsforlyons true, i can guarantee this was over 75dBZ though.

  • @Gyphia white, approx 75-80dBZ

  • We just got hit with one of these yesterday (Pitts PA). Winds were in excess of 80 mph and it rained like Niagara falls. Trees everywhere were just snapped off like twigs. A lot of areas are still without power more than a day later. Wicked stuff.

  • Brings back memories of when I grew up in Richmond. I have loads of family in Garnett

  • How fast were those winds going? Last May we (southern illinois) had a derecho with winds topping out at 106mph, this video reminds me of that storm, so the winds were probably somewhere near that!

  • This is the best microburst I've ever seen! Cool video,

  • this is tight, i live in Ganrett and we got slammed to. Im a storm chaser and got out right before this, got some good footage as well!

  • My baseball team was car pooling up to Manhattan for a double header, when we got caught in this. It was the most ridiculous thing ever. I swear our SUV was being picked up off the ground.

  • Haha I was in my house (ottawa) when it hit. It came from no where. 90+ mph gusts lol. My trash can blew 100 yards down the street! And I heard you ask about the wheather radio, ours didnt go off until about 5 minutes after the storm had passed. It blew the roof off of one of our hotels and blew over 2 semis on I-35. Pretty nasty little sucker.
