  • I just go by the Book. Not a priest father of a dead religion.

If Christ is true, hell is a long time. So hell is in the balance.

You said, exChristian, if you know the love and price paid by Christ to set you free, understanding they we receive his righteousness and he recieves our sins, I doubt you would walk away. You must have walked away from Catholicism, because once Jesus sets you free, you are free indeed.

  • Mat 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

  • @sinaejoy7

....Many Christians do the same thing that Jesus said not to do. Do they not say the same prayers over and over at church every time???

  • @sinaejoy7 @sinaejoy7 In the original christianity which by the way is miles from what is practised today, Jesus christ prescribes the "chanting" of the Holy names of God. Acquire a book called The wonders of the Holy name By father Paul O' sullivan. It lists hundreds of christians who chanted the name of God in times of tribulation and who were delivered by doing so. Also you have taken this quotation out of context it refers to requesting from God. From an ex-christian. Hare Krishna
