I know that Turbos can spool faster thus produce more psi, but, have a longer lags then supers. However supers have less maintence and heat build up.

It also creates a more linear power curve. They don't spool at different RPMs.

Superchargers are not "for" anything, same as turbos, they just have different aspects, but a supercharger can reach just as much hp as a turbo. it's a matter of tuning and boost.
