  • The Taliban started this mess. Not the Americans... Everyone forgets that.

The Taliban are the ones responsible for this war and look at the suffering they inflicted on "their" country and people...

Oh well, Afghanistan isn't under Taliban control anymore and won't ever be again so I'm glad the Afghan people will have their country back soon and can move forward and not be held back by the religiously and socially backwards Taliban regime. And they can thank the Coaltion and ANA for it.

  • @C59Soldier Wont it? Its fact that NATO, the Afghan "government" have had dialogue with the Taliban. Reconciliation with them is the only way that we are leaving this empires graveyard. And I though AQ started this? Funny how none of the WTC attakers were Afghans or Iraqis.

  • @grimblebrumble17889 Funny how the Taliban refused to give up Bin Laden and started the whole war to begin with... Their pride and ego has made their own people suffer.. But then again they don't care about their own people, they care about power and control and backwards religious and social views... They can pick on innocent people all they want but when a trained and technologically advanced army invades they become nothing but a pack of cowardly dogs...

  • @C59Soldier Well considering that Afghanistan is a fucking great place to hide I think they probably didnt have any choice in the matter. After all the US was looking for him there for 10 years before realising that he was still in Pakistan. And like I said Saudis commit a crime and its hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and Afghans that pay with their lives. Seems rather skewed.

  • Well Talibans are not good people indeed very bad but they dont come into houses and hishonour womens like that..Its totally unacceptable in pushtoon culture nowonder they are putting a hard fight to get rid of them!God bless Afghanistan!

  • Now they started war in libya..The problem lies in America not Afghans or pakistanies warmongers!

  • I want to fucking punch that crying Afghan woman

  • @DanteMcSparda nigga first off you see not one soldier pushing no one around in the vid so wtf are you talking about?

    USA = NUBS

Cruse on all the USA MFers.

  • afghanistan and all the run down areas in the world could benefit from being modernized into countries like northamerica and europe in some ways. wouldn't it be great if we could make all the places on earth advanced like north america and parts of europe. most countries that are poor could be helped by being ruled by advanced governments. ive noticed the people from poor countries want to come over to the advanced land but nobdy is going to there land and making there land advanced.

  • Enemy propaganda. It's high time journalists faced prosecution for their crimes.

  • Wow, a whole month! As a reporter!

This guy must be an expert!

  • Well, while other US soldiers are exposed to fear and intense weather conditions, the captured Boe Bergdahl seems to be enjoying a great time under the custody of Taliban. In videos he is seen eating nice food all the time. Even he is sending Christmas messages!

  • 1:25 run my fellow penguin friends

  • what would the koran do look we throw a book at you now you are cursed

  • fake

  • Total disregard for the Pakhtunwali..

    You ar emy friend until you;

    1) disrespect my family

    2) disrespect my wife

    3) Enter my sanctity

    4) Invade my country

If you do any of the above - I will hunt you down and make no mistake - I will kill you.

    Pashtun Law.

The US breaks this trust everyday.

  • Still every bit as relevant today....

"When youre wounded and left on Afghanistans plains, And the women come to cut out what remains, Just roll to your rifle, and blow out your brains. And go to your God like a soldier."

Rudyard Kipling author of "White Man's Burden

  • American now has India inside Afghanistan using it as a stage to destabilise Pakistan using American Troops and N.allaince terrorists Afghans to destabilise Pakistan your only ally that can "engage" Pashtuns and The Taliban to bring some kind of normality in Afghanistan.

  • Obama exit Afdghanistan and engage Pashtubs abd The Taliban.

Pakistan can be the broker and reduce Indian "destabilising" Influence from out of Afghanistan and leave the land sof The Pashtun with some hnour left in tact.

  • Bush had an Imperial Agenda to install hegemony on this strategic land - Afghanistan, Phase 1 was Afghanistan, Phase 2 was Iran but BUsh made a "huge" mistake going into Iraq and phase 3 was Pakistan. The idea was to destabilise this block and install hegemony by force - through the facade of 9/11 and WOT

  • Bush reache dout to India as far back as 2002 to dismantle Pakistan it's key Competition. India through it's contacts with the criminal n.alliance and Tajikistanis and it's own trianed agents enered Waziristan to mobilise a civil war against Pakistan on the pretence that they too are "afghan Taliban" - the same was being done in Iran also.

  • In 1999 - India wa sa 3rd world country with an absolutely backward economoy and society, this was the same in 2000 and in 2001 BUT by 2002 India became an Economic Power? Question this with a sane logic. An absolute lie, what was happening was "marketing" for India, a global PR strategy o make it look like it is a modernising, pragmatic country which rather than a exporter of terror in the S.Asian region was in fact a victim of terror.

  • So what changed in 2002, well The Neo Cons had made a decision to market India as a direct competitor to China. They sought to hegemonise the region through India. They created an illusion about India, they sought to arm India to contain China - grave miscalculation given India's image in that region is far from "positive". Allow me to explain.

  • India pursued aggresive policies to install it's "hindu" imperialism not only inside India persecuting Chrisians, Muslims, Sikhs and Dalits but also destabilised it's neighbours, Sri Lanka, China, Bhutan, Nepal, Myammar and Pakistan.

  • By 2004 Indian funded Tajik Afghans / N.Alliance and Tajikistanis as well as INdians were stirring trouble inside Pakistan - Waziristan - The Idea was to create a CIA style civil war and topple and dismember Pakistan and do something similar with Iran and thus use India as a proxy puppet to HEGEMONISE the region.

  • By 2007 - Indian presence inside Afghanistan which is the "land of the Pashtuns" -was a direct factor to a rise in insurgency as India began destabilising Pashtun region of Pakistan and Peshawar/Pekhawar. This gave the "real" Taliban a huge boost, coupled with the U.S troop surge.

  • This agenda was to dominate the Obama presidency as this operation was well on the way in his term hence the Obama and US policy shift from Pakistan and suddenly Pakistan expereinced the worse terror attacks "ever". But they underestimated the Pakistani Millitary.

  • Pakistan Millitary successfully crushed the terrorists nests and any opportunity for them to create a civil war was now over.. Thus pockets of terrorists indicriminately bomb Pakistani cities. The recent stepping down of Abdullah Abdullah from the elections signalled the Ameircan change in Policy.

  • America realised that Pakistan has contained the threat and thus they had to call of Indian aggressive stance in the media against Pakistan. Not only that the Indian "front man" Abdullah Abdullah who is essentially N.Allaince was politely told to sep down - America had realsied they can NOT stabilise Afghanistan with India and definitely not thru N.Alliance Tajiks and alienating Pashuns and The Afghan "real" Taliban.

  • America and Nato are "struggling" inside Afghanistan with the added problems of a fleeing "indian" funded Pakistani Taliban running out of Pakistan into Afghanistan fighitng Americans too. The state of American Economy, the instability and insurgency in Afghanistan and failure of the Indian Mission has caused the OBama Adminsration to make a dramatic POLICY Change.

  • American Imerpial" agenda has faield in this region, it has realised it has to concede to a rising China and rather to have a SOVIET style cold war with it - Ameirca must make friendship and share if possible the trade that will flow through Afghanistan. This means engaging Pashtuns and Taliban and this can only be done through Pakistan and not India.

  • your wife a whore, your family are dirty arabs, i disrespect your sanctity and i hope your country gets nuked the fuck out of it.

  • Everyone wants to be left alone.

  • Great journalism.

I wonder if the soldier at 4:28 to 5:12 understands the irony of his comments.

  • The dude says "It's only two dudes". Okay, so the villagers "disappear" those two guys. How many more come next time?

Don't look for it to get better or us to pull out. The feds are looking to put permanent accounting goons in country. That sure doesn't spell "leaving soon" to me.

  • The U.S. government doesn't leave people alone. They don't leave their own citizens alone. They don't leave the rest of the world alone.

  • @dchoker000 Exactly why I'm voting Ron Paul in 2012,were sick of this b.s. too.

  • So sad, we're asking kids out of high school to socialize and regulate people twice their age and from a completely different culture effectively. Most of them probably still can't run their own lives let alone the lives of others. Sad for both the American young men and the Afghans. What a mess.

  • @Nickelodeon2002

The young men are volunteers. And in Afghanistan they have done more good than most will ever do in their life.

Taliban was one of the most wicked regimes in history. Check out womens treatment under Taliban rule. I can't think of a worse way to treat a person

The Afghans who want to be left alone are the MINORITY who want to keep the Taliban culture.

The vast majority DO NOT want to be left alone, want the US to stay & are very positive about there country's future

  • Watch the soldier at 1:05 and look closely at his weapon. It appears to be an M14 with scope, bipod, and barrel cover. I am NOT a fan of the M16 unless it's at the indoor rifle range. Glad to see this soldier has a good weapon to protect himself and his men. I think most of the troops would prefer the M14 if they had a choice.

I would rather bring our troops home and to hell with the Afghans. Let the Russians have them next time.

  • "The Taliban with their Al Quieda fighters are usually made up of Muslim extremists from all over the world" -What a lot of horseshit, caliche. The Taliban are made up of Pashtun villagers, they are not from "all over the world". Even the most basic study of the occupation and Afghanistan would tell you that, there is no disagreement about it. That you don't know even that, shows that you know nothing and are just spewing some neocon propaganda. Nice try.

  • There will be Taliban and Al Qaeda bases all over Afghanistan within a month if the U.S. withdrawals completely. Neither the Taliban or Al Qaeda have any trouble walking into a village and roasting the villagers in their own ovens. They already proved that. It was already proven that the Afghans can't handle Al Qaeda or the Taliban without NATO help.

Foot patrols and road blocks are useless. Neither have been successful in finding the enemy, yet have shown signs of an occupation.

  • Powerful pictures. They need to pull out Afghanistan and let those people deal with their own problems.

  • To announce that there must be no criticism of the President,or that we are to stand by the President ,right or wrong. Is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public...Franklyn Theodore Roosevelt )o

  • as long as the taliban have blood on their hands, we have every right to be there. afghanistan will never be fixed until the afghan people help fix it themselves.

  • fuck off.

  • why? cause im right?

  • start with your twat invocation of "we", then blow your mind by reversing countries and pointing to some goonited states atrocity (of many) -- as in,

"as long as fedgoons have blood on their hands, 'we' (i.e., a group of men from afghanistan, not including the speaker) have 'every right to be there' (i.e., invade/occupy/bully some arbitrary group of people in the goonited states)."

try MYOB, fuck. does wonders, though it makes it harder to sing "proud to be an amehrikin" at airshows, etc.

  • that was the biggest blob of gibberish i have ever seen. inaccurate, for one, but tottal gibberish.

i bet you feel smart, sitting behind a computer screen, writing comments on youtube, dont you?

  • Comment removed

  • ...he said, 'sitting behind a computer screen, writing comments on youtube'.

  • Who in government doesn't have blood on their hands? Our "leaders," past and present, directed some of the bloodiest and most unnecessary military campaign in recent history. To name a few:

    Vietnam

    Civil War

    WWI

    Korean

    Spanish

    Iraq (both)

    Kosovo

    Various Caribbean wars

Pat Buchanan and Ayn Rand also made very strong cases as to why WW2 was unnecessary. Winston Churchill said WW2 was unnecessary. Some even go as far to say the revolutionary war was unnecessary. Most wars are pointless.

  • The triggerman might be using a scope and is hiding in a camouflaged hole 800 yards away.

  • Why would Afghan people try to kill Taliban? All muslim people like Taliban..and support it fully..they just say that they hate taliban..but they dont...

  • That's not true. The Afghan Highlanders that occupy the same area's as the Taliban, like a lot of tribal communities, live with a strict moral code. The Taliban with their Al Quieda fighters are usually made up of Muslim extremists from all over the world, and are considered just as abhorrent to the tribes as Nato forces. However, through the failed Nato tactics and bombing of Afghan villages in recent years, the tribesmen now feel Nato solders to be the bigger threat of the two.

  • let me guess...u made that up from the top of ur head rite?

just because you want something to be true, doesnt mean it is.

  • isnt it against the koran to lie tho?

there ya go, i just found a huge flaw in islam, even tho there is already enough evidence that islam is horse shit to begin with
