some bastards just decided to switch our format less than 10 years into the top selling format, when we converted from VHS to DVD there was reasons,it takes up smaller space,video is clearer, holds more content, and its cheap too, but with blu ray true, you get better picture but you have to buy HDTV, with expensive blu-ray player, with expensive blu ray disc, with all that reason its enough to say that warner bros. only wants to make money

@adrianlindsaylohan Not really. Blu-Ray isn't a forced upgrade like DVD, as all BD players will play DVDs. It's a choice, really.

I got the blurray directors cut that comes in a limted terminator t 600 skull head it comes with the directors cut and the mopvie version plues loads of bonus stuff so this one rocks im glad igot a ps3

they are stupid, warner bros.,okay so they wanted to make money, they only get the domestic gross cuz of their contract and since the film did bad in the north america they can still make money out of dvd and blu ray sales and not many people has adapted blu ray so the majority is on dvd and by putting in so little special features it will lose a whole bunch of interest in buying the dvd and so that way they are making less money and dissapointing lots of fans and that is super stupid

A DVD only holds about 3 GB of memory.

A Blu-Ray holds 60 GB. Therefore, more features.

Also its another marketing strategy to get more people into buying Blu-ray players.

Since the sales of PS3's are increasing, it is safe to say that blu-ray is dominating its product life-cycle.

The maximum movie mode is too much for a DVD to handle because of its HD content. Also its another marketing approach to get more people into buying blu-ray.

The average DVD consumer will look at all the Blu -ray content as well as the HD content of the film, and they will say: "hmm, Blu ray is so much better! Not just the Hi-Def quality, but also all the great features! I shall buy a Blu-Ray player sometime this year"

mind you, the marketers are doing a good job at it.

why not put the contents into dvds as featurettes, make a second disc for it. warner bros. is making a horrible decision because they decided to release one of the most dissapointing movie of the year in the most dissapointing way on the dvd which is still, making more money than blu-ray. and with all the economy crisis going on we have to spend whole lot of money on HDTV and bluray player with a really expensive disc, its all about the money now and not the people's satisfaction anymore

hello there. HD TV/content to the majority is very satisfying. Sound and image is much clearer. But yes its also about the money, obviously. If the use of trade/money never existed we wouldnt have all these technological gadgets. remember- people invent new things so they can make money out of. I hate it that they only released the director's cut and the extra's for bluray and not DVD. I'm a DVD guy and have a shitload of Terminator DVD's. Now I cannot watch the longer version of T4 on DVD. :-(
