  • amazing!

  • wow.. this is really interestin'.I have to ask.. HOW did you learn to do this?Is there any literature out there that would show a nepophyte like me how to do this? Moreover, would an SK-5 work?

  • actually there is nothing you can teach about it. ok, i have the advantage that i learned electronics-engineer. But when you can handle a soldering-iron it's not that difficult. just open in up, short-circuit some of the legs on the larger ICs and wait for a result. then solder a switch or a pot between these points.

    yeah, and that's it!

  • There are a crap load of great books on the subject... check out reed ghazala's "Circuit-Bending" - Nicolas Collins' "Handmade Electronic Music" - or Craig Anderton's "Electronic Projects for Musicians" those are all great places to start....

  • I just noticed something- the one with the high staccato beats is used on a Homestar runner intro with fireworks, but sped up. It's no longer used.

  • I literally sat open mouthed throughout the whole of this. Absolutely astonishing. Well done man, keep these coming! I'm off to ebay to re-spark my love of electronics.. :)

  • Thank you very much!

Actually i'm tired of making videos of the SK-1. I rarely use it.

  • Hey M,

is this the same one you sent me the mp3?

    It looks brilliant!

    Oceanus

  • Hi P.

No it isn't. The one i sent you was an on-the-fly recording (just audio).

    and Thank you! :-)

  • Thank you! sorry but my cam sucks so bad, you cannot see exactly what i'm doin

  • fuckin awesome dude. quick question- is the source an external loop which the bent sk-1 is processing in real time?

  • Not at all. It's just the "Disco-Beat" from the SK-1 running in background. On the second half of the vid i sampled a glass-sound and ran it through the Demo-Song.

  • wow this would be pretty good background music for a video game!!

  • Awesome man. Love it!

  • thanx!

  • Thanks! It's my biggest Bending-Project so far.

  • i like i like

    that beat is tight

  • wow! ... wow!
