July 2009 was the warmest ocean temperature July on record. That's before the El Nino fully develops.
The first hurricane of 1992, Andrew 22 Aug, made land fall 24 Aug.
2005, exhausted the alphabet for naming hurricanes.

Question: in 2004 natural disasters and significantly higher global temperatures were said to be just around the corner. In 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 the same was said. It didn't happen!
Over the last decade (since 1998) global temperatures have remained steady or slightly declined despite an exponential increase in CO2 levels. How is this possible if CO2 drives global warming? Maybe CO2 doesn't? A decade of failed predictions and people still think Gore knows what he is talking about??

Bill Clinton and Al Gore had an honest scientist fired for wanting to properly research global warming. William Happer, then of the Department of Energy, wanted to perform a proper survey of how much ultraviolet radiation was reaching the Earth, to see if the ozone hole was really a problem. Nobody had yet performed such a study, and claims of increased ultraviolet radiation were based on theory. At this suggestion, he was fired by Katie McGintey.

The temperature correlates really well with the variation in the sun's output, but no matter. We can make bankers and Wall Street traders rich by commoditizing CO2 and tell ourselves that the trees are happier that we are depriving them of food.

Gore is committing a massive fraud. He does not know how to solve the problem, so he wants to tax you. I would suggest he buy some thermodynamics books, educate himself, and then solve the problem. That is what I am doing. I think 90% of the fuel could be remove from our daily lives. None of his solutions work. Gore is lied about the GW on his own movie...his graph shows temp going down while co2 is going up. What give Al? Amazing this guy gets an audience...

Global warming is not real, climate change is. Climate change could also be called environmental extremism, cold will get colder, warm will get warmer etc. Scientists called it climate change 20 years ago but evidence arose showing warming, so they changed it to global warming, now we see temperatures reaching records more and more. I live in Canada when i was 5-10 the coldest it got was -30 or -40, now i have to deal with -50 degree temperatures.

They are not pushing for this legistlation to help the environment, they are doing it to implement socialism/communism, increase spending, increase regulations, and increase taxes on coal and oil industries, causing them to ship jobs overseas. This is just a big tax on the American people."

Barton doesn't know about the properties of CO2 which lead to global warming and he is part of high level discussions on our response to Climate Change? We've known that large quantities of atmospheric CO2 has the capacity to heat the planet for over 150 years. It's a proven fact. It's a property of the gas.
Nobody can demonstrate what the net outcome of a transition to green energy will mean in terms of employment but we've a good idea of what inaction will do to our world.

Google "List of scientists opposing the mainstream scientific assessment of global warming" for a very incomplete list of scientists and quotes.
If you want to debate the issue with science rather than personal attacks i'm more than willing.

Co2 is NOT a pollutant! I occurs naturally in the oceans, in the earth. We exhale Co2, plants thrive on C02 and give off oxygen in return.
What about all the Co2 coming from volcanoes or the yearly California wild fires?

Not one scientific paper explains how man to the exclusion of all other possible reasons is the direct and sole cause of this very slight fluctuation in world temperatures. Not ONE. Oh, there's alot of fluff talk in these papers desparetely trying to convinve you it is a man made cause. But none can cite anything of any scientific value to this point. It's embarrassing when someone with a science background reads these papers. They are not meant for the scientific community but for the drones.
