@AQUIBAK It doesn't matter, brushes and alphas do not make the art. There's no magic brush to make you better. Only time and effort can do that. Find the ones that work for you, or make your own.
@anmisto he used the extract option from a masked area. that makes that masked area a subtool which can be sculpted separately from the body. think of it as a layer
Sorry, I reread your message, The smooth brush in Zbrush 2 is to hold shift, Your red cursor should turn blue and it will then smooth out bumps and so forth. Hope that helps
I was amazed at how well the character model is built, but a slight detail - Deadpool is either in costume, swords strapped on back, or horribly scared and with very far from flawless skin. And I kinda figured his shoulders wouldn't be that broad - always looks rather skinny compared to the Captain Americas and Luke Cages of the world. More Seagal, less Stalone ;)
I also work with photoshop cs2, like the guy below and with a tablet, but if this program is easy to use, it would save much trouble, so is it easy to use?
After watching both your deadpool clips I'm really intreasted in Zbrush. I work with photoshop cs3 with a tablet but would like to know more about this. Could you pm me more information about the program since I know nothing about it? 5 stars. Deadpool FTW
@Bradboy2010 Just for the record? There is no such thing as "perfect anatomy dude" But we understood what you meant. Thanks for making me login to correct you.
dude nice sculpture, ive been trying to make one in zbrush for my friend but im not that artistic so if you want to make one for him then id give you the Adobe Master Collection. if your interested then message me.
yeah, I feel like a total tool now because I've been seeing a lot of people using this brush but I just now updated to 3.1. I have a turnable up on my page if interested it's nothing special.
I really tend to change them as i need them to be honest. I guess with the speed of the recording though it's hard to tell when I do infact change it. I also have a tablet so if you press lighter , it doesnt go on as thick. Thanks for the question!
@TyFigueira can you tell maybe how you made that collar around his neck, only thing i know is that its a new subtool (made from unmasked area?) but dont know how? Thanks :) great tallent
i had the advantage of learning blender and maya before zbrush, so i knew what to expect from the program and i learned the basics of it in about a week or so
but it is actually quite easy to learn, if you download the demo and watch all the zclassrom tutorials ull surprise yourself on how quick you can learn it
Had blender and left it alone. But i do have the zbrush demo so maybe ill take the time to watch the tutorials but see im kinda impatient, I tried watch a zbrush tutorial on utube but i just wanted to make somthin so bad.. so i didnt watch it plus it was like a hour
Yeah i just subscribed to zbrush a little while ago like 30 min and watched 2 vids, i couldn't deal with it because my pc is slow and my internet is slow i need like fios or something. But i will take the time out each day and watch the videos as a school course.
well in the works is another bust, but who knows what the future holds ;) I should be uploading the bust soon as well although there is a big chunk of time missing because zbrush crashed X(
i love the way you started this from zspheres. in the beginning of your sculpt, did you use the move bush for shaping the adaptive skin and then clay tubes or layer brush for sculpting?

well i started with zb2, went thru the manual they offer on thier site and then transitioned to zb3 over a few days

yeah i know what you mean, the learning curve for 3D is huge and i am also very impatient
Zbrush is a pretty good place to start though, because the demo comes pre-packed with models that you can sculpt on right away
good luck
