  • I am having the upstream carrier moved so we can resolve the customers problem and I can see what is behind it. I have completed plant hardening on the node, sat with the calan spectrum scan for hours. Could a bad modem or someone running malicious software cause this problem?

  • Hi, I am currentley having a problem in one of our nodes where a business customer has been experiencing codeword errors on their arris modem. Both downstream data channels are fine now with mer of 39db or more conistanly. When I first started the call i had pre erors and some posting but i resolved this issue due two levels on a node changing and the tirst trunk being hit to hard.

I have now found the upstream carrier that has been causing the codeword errors.

  • Thanks

  • Thank you!

  • Why did you leave 8 channel bonding out of the tutorial? I see you put 2, 3 and 4 channels but in practice there are 8 channel cablemodems that offer 300 Mbps in DOCSIS 3.0 and 400 Mbps in EuroDOCSIS 3.0.

Example: Netgear CG3100D used in Spain by Ono to give 30, 50 and 100 Mbps speeds.

  • great video. thanks for posting
