I can not play in this tempo detoche my right hand can nto control every note. I played only 3/1 originale. Sir. If you want to practise detoche play other thing's but 5 capricce play byt originale bow. You did good job.
all of you are idiots, can anyone play this better than him? give him some credits and shut the hell up... he is GREAT and he plays the song also GREAT... he impressed me, so and you but you can not accept that there is one man thousand times better than you...
I agree. Indianapolis competition this year was on the whole a much higher level than Tchaikovsky competition in 2007. Indianapolis level has raised in recent years while the overall level of Tchaikovsky has seemed to decline for whatever reason
Augustin Hadelich, the winner, is a terrific artist and a true discovery, while Mayuko Kamio, although a solid player and good student, is nothing that special, compared to most of the previous Tchaikovsky 1st prize winners.
queen elizabeth too... winners of qec and indinapolis; augustin hadelich, barnabas keleman. tchaikovsky... akiko suwanai, mayuko kamio. a bit lop sided.
uh oh. asia isn't up to its standards anymore?

I admit that this performance was not as polished as it could have been--too fast and not distinct.
But keep in mind how hard this piece is.

Give the guy some credit, its a very difficult piece to execute well by anyone.

The scales and arpeggios are a mess, out of tune! I'd rather hear it slower and in tune because this was just faking.
