  • Perhaps the holes are arranged in an ascending line around the inside of the can? Could you please tell us how you created the swirling process???

  • Real cool, can you do another and show more footage of the stove and insights on how you made it, size of holes, cans, type of material etc.? It looks like you've got stainless there. You've inspired me! Thanx! I gotta get a vid up too!

  • Nice Stove!

how did you realize the rotation/vortex? how are the air holes arranged?

The spinning seems to increase efficiency - I would like to build a stove with a swirling flame like yours but can not imagine how to.

  • i can see it rotatins counter clock wise

  • This is a wood burning stove with a fan. It is not a woodgas stove. Woodgas is produced in a low oxygen atmosphere by smoldering the fuel. The gas produced is then burned.

You need to separate gasification from the burning to have woodgas.

Here's an example, during world war II people converted gasoline cars to run on wood gas. Try to run an engine off of that flame you have there. A steam car maybe, a gasoline-fueled car, no.

  • @buckstarchaser

at least a very effective one.

  • A good video, showing how SIMPLE things can be made! BTW- cotton ball, soaked in petroleum jelly (Vasoline) work GREAT as fire-starters.

  • The one I built I fired it using my wax coffee filter lint fire starters. All I did was roll up some cardboard then I dropped a wax starter in and it burned over 10 min. It has been raining here too and I didnt save up any wood for fuel so had to use cardboard to test the unit. If all I had was wax and cardboard I would be pleased. Yard sales will provide plenty wax melt it use coffee filters wrapped in lint tied with a piece of wire dip them in hot wax allow to dry then dip in cooling wax.

  • Turbo what? is this guy nuts? Maybe he likes fire a little too much. Somebody, please, give this guy a job!!!
