  • This is my fave Sister Sledge song followed by He's The Greatest Dancer.Im glad to be in my 40s also because i remember when these songs hit.I dont recall their early 70s music though.The sisters are very nice as i have met 3 of them and their late mother...R.I.P. MAMA SLEDGE.I met them in the Phx airport in 2002.And i also had the pleasure of driving one of them to a concert a couple of years later!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Bernard, Nile and Tony Thomson had such a great feel and talent for a groove. Check out the Best Disco in Town live DVD with the mighty Omar Hakim on drums, Sylver Logan on vocals did a great job with all the Nile Rogers stuff. People today either can't or don't want to play original music with this kind of groove, very sad.

I had the album "We Are Family " but it wasn't until I bought the cassette in 1982 while stationed over seas that I first hear the entire tape and this song "Lost In Music stayed in my hea. And ever since I play this song I love it but to hear the chorus at the begining of the song that I can hear Chic's sing in the chorus.

  • Bernard Edwards & Nile Rodgers were & still are one of the best 80's producers. Their bands & songs are evergreens. So many versions´over so many years & generations, I think people in 2080 will ask themselves what a great time these generation must had have! And I can say, it was a fantastic one!!!!!!

  • I don't know what it was about this song, but I thought it was the coolest most magical thing I'd ever heard back in '79. The chorus is so haunting. It didn't hurt that Chic was the rhythm section on this (Bernard and Niles make *everything* sound good). Just a great track. Thanks for posting!
