@marco39120 nope look at it this way. SNK has revolutionized 2 fighters and I can say that I have played this version at a console showing and the game play is nothing you've done before you don't even notice combos or anything you just do it.

Then Capcom who in the last 10 years has been alienating their fan base and releasing BS games including the worst MVC in existence.

Trust me won't happen because if Capcom does it they get lynched by SNK fans. IF SNK does it capcom is made pathetic.

Also they don't respect one another otherwise Capcom wouldn't have tried to bankrupt them. Thats like saying in the 80's and 90's nintendo and Sega were golf buddies. Also the SNK vs CAPcom was done for money sake and because fans kept demanding it. Finally Art of fighting came out before SF2

I was Such a big SF fan until I got my hands on 98 and Samurai Shodown back then. But seeing as SNK has failed to deliver recently, I am a SF fan again. People are missing the point. In the past couple of years, every fighting franchise (barr Tekken) has evolved its formula in its own way, whether it's a tightening of the gameplay and new graphical format (e.g. Street Fighter), a return to the old after a few misguided years (Mortal Kombat) or even evolving one unique franchise into another (Guilty Gears->BlazBlue).

KoF, however, appears to have stripped away what once made it individual and is instead trying to emulate the competition.

You'd be wrong, on multiple levels. The King of Fighters Franchise is amazing and is decades older than Blazblue.

Its also not some J-pop Wapenese, wetdream like Blazblue is. Its not to say Blazblue is bad, its not. But in terms of character design and gameflow, it fails pretty badly.
