  • saw those 2 businessmans in dragons den and wow they look so pro at pitcing that idea i want to know where to get this product it looks amazing. anyone know where to buy this product? i wanna save some dogs aswell

  • I’m pretty sure reading everyone’s comments gave me a brain aneurism.

  • real dumb just drive away slower dont wheelspin

  • The cars not stuck. The driver is.

  • Kudos, guys ;)

  • that is stupid is more easy to put an heat blower to melt the ice.

  • it may work great but this video certainly doesn't demonstrate what its main purpose is. sure if it is supposed to be used as a better alternative to salts it is to be applied to roads before cars drive on it and not once their stuck.

  • that car was never stuck. EPIC FAIL

  • The obvious problem with this is that when spring comes your driveway/ walk way will still be full of this stuff,, unless they found a way to solve that.

  • I'd assume you could simply shovel the stuff off or sweep it off your driveway

it's non-toxic and can be placed on and near living things like plants

    its made of volcanic rock

intresting product and definately something marketable as a salt and gravel alternative

  • @mikelching Considering salt you use for driveways is very toxic and sand/gravel will work but cause you to constantly get mad at people who use it, yes it is a very good idea.

  • @postpastx They came up with this nifty invention some 3000 years ago called a broom.

  • @The0Grand0Pooba lolololololol my thought exactly, all these lazy mofos

  • Really, this has some magical advantage over regular crushed stone?

  • this porous volcanic rock absorbs the thin layer of water that exists on the top of ice that causes slipping, then actualy embeds itself into the ice. crushed stone does neither

  • That's a good tip, add some kleenex or absorbent kitty litter to your crushed stone and you'd get the same effect and save some dinero.

  • yah if you want to clean up kitty litter and shitloads of kleenex afterwards.....ecotraction can be sweapt into the garden or leaft on the ground its up to you cuz its not harmful to the environment. but your right if you were strapped for cash and needed a quick alternative kitty litter could work i guess. i wouldnt make a habit out of it though

  • Isn't ecotraction made of the same stuff as clumping cat litter? Zeolite?

  • Not that i know of. What i do know is that "ecotraction" is a naturally occuring mineral that is located near certain volcanic deposits, and the guys who created it have exclusive mining rights to ALL of north america for these deposits. Im guessing Zeolite is man made?

  • @ralfcis Do you really need help figuring that out?

  • No I'm trying to help others, who can't filter what they see, figure it out.

  • Great product ,and better than salt and sand. There is a place on the 401 that is close to the st Lawrance and the people living between the 401 & st Lawrence experienced a core of road salt that has penetrated the ground to a huge depth and destroyed there laundry appliances. Therefore the environment was and is severly impacted because of the continual usage of road salt ....and its impossible to get the existing road salt out . Hmm have you ever seen Moose on the side of the road in spring

  • bad driver because that car was never stuck in the first place.
