I don't think it will work the same, but you could try right? You might want to try to find/make your brown sugar to the same consistency as white sugar, not sure if thats possible though.
Stir for about 30 seconds (I like using a whisk because it incorporates it better). After it is dissolved leave it alone and do not stir it or the sugar will crystallize. Enjoy!

You can make as much as you want. A "part" can be any size you wish.
you can also make syrup in ratio's of 1:1 2:1 and 3: 1 depending on what you are making and how sweet you want it.
