awesome tutorial. Question, in you opinion would you recommend cloth diapers?especially when baby goes number two...u know how messy that is. please let me know, thanks in advance
Thanks for the video! I saw this and made a pair right away. They turned out GREAT! I hand sewed the first sock and didn't have any problems. This morning I tried using my sewing machine to do the remaining one and the curling of the sock made it difficult so I tore out the stitches and hand sewed the remaining sock. Cannot wait to go back to Target to find more $1 socks!!! I bet they have Halloween ones out now :) Thanks again!!!
This is great!!. I found that Target has a great selection for purchasing knee high socks. Made a brown pair with pink trim at top and a white pair yesterday. will be perfect for cool winter mornings .These took abt 15 minutes to make. Thanks so much!!
Cannot wait to try this. I will practice on a few of my socks that have holes in them. I have 3 girls so this will come in handy. Thank you so much for this Tutorial it's great!!
I've been buying baby legs, the brand and off brand. So I thought I would see if I can do it. I'm going to try it out. I have my sister's sewing machine. I hope they turn out good! thanks for the video!
Do you just use a straight stitich for the whole thing? I bought knee high socks today at Target and I can't wait to start making them!! Great tutorial!
I always wondered how to Make them! THANK YOU! Now, if only I could figure out how to use the sewing machine I have. I guess it is such a tiny amount of sewing, I could just do it by hand even...
@InformationMommy It's totally possible without "boy's" knee highs! I'm making some for my 3 month old son right now. I went to walmart and found women's knee highs in different shades/prints of blue, chocolate brown, solid green and a super cute green/brown argyle print. Five bucks for a 3pk...can't beat that!
Ooooh my. I would never ever thought of making my own baby legs. This seems so easy, I definatelly have to try it myself. What a great idea. Thank you for inspiring me.
This is sooo AWESOME! This will be my next craft project for my little (unborn) baby girl. Just gotta finish the rest of my homemade diapers. Can't wait!
@ArmindaHeart I found PUL at JoAnns the other day and I'm trying to design a custom wet bag. I love crafting! Can't believe youre making your own CDs though. You're awesome!
Love it!! I have a lot of crafty friends and family, so I shared on FB. If I have a little girl, I will definitely make these for her :) Thanks for sharing!!
Wow they turned out SO cute, love them! Can't wait to try out this tutorial :) We can sew by hand right? I don't have my sewing machine with me here in Japan.
I love this! I may actually have to try this out =0) I've always wanted a pair but I didn't want to pay the price for them...so if I can get the fabric when its on sale it would be worth it! =0) Thank you, Miss Hannah looks adorable in them! =0)
great tutorial, very clear and easy to follow. i like my own baby legs better than the brand because my baby's legs are so chunky and they fit him better. and they aren't so expensive!
Awesome simple tutorial!!! Thanks!!! :)

I am full of admiration for all mummies who have the time and energy to make things for their babies, but I'm a little perplexed by "baby legs".
If your baby is cold, wouldn't it just be easier to put pants on?

@AmyLizz Sometimes I think sewing by hand would be easier considering how much some of these socks curl after you cut them. :)
