  • love these so much!

  • Just wanted to say thanks for the great video, they turned out so cute!!

  • Thanks for the video! I saw this and made a pair right away. They turned out GREAT! I hand sewed the first sock and didn't have any problems. This morning I tried using my sewing machine to do the remaining one and the curling of the sock made it difficult so I tore out the stitches and hand sewed the remaining sock. Cannot wait to go back to Target to find more $1 socks!!! I bet they have Halloween ones out now :) Thanks again!!!

  • This is great!!. I found that Target has a great selection for purchasing knee high socks. Made a brown pair with pink trim at top and a white pair yesterday. will be perfect for cool winter mornings .These took abt 15 minutes to make. Thanks so much!!

  • Totally going to do this! Thanks!

  • I can't wait to try this!! What size socks did you buy?

  • 9 weeks old in that video, wow she is soo alert and chatty!

  • Cannot wait to try this. I will practice on a few of my socks that have holes in them. I have 3 girls so this will come in handy. Thank you so much for this Tutorial it's great!!

  • I've been buying baby legs, the brand and off brand. So I thought I would see if I can do it. I'm going to try it out. I have my sister's sewing machine. I hope they turn out good! thanks for the video!

  • Do you just use a straight stitich for the whole thing? I bought knee high socks today at Target and I can't wait to start making them!! Great tutorial!

  • Are you practising elimination communication? I love the leggings!

  • this is an excellent idea and great tutorial, i'm so gonna make some for my daughter olivia, thanx :)

  • what size socks? adults? childrens?

  • I always wondered how to Make them! THANK YOU! Now, if only I could figure out how to use the sewing machine I have. I guess it is such a tiny amount of sewing, I could just do it by hand even...

  • I always wondered how to Make them! THANK YOU! Now, if only I could figure out how to use the sewing machine I have.

  • great video Carla, i wish i could sew yay! fir boston red sox i live in boston!!

  • Love this! I'll be making many of these!!

  • Oh m'gosh. THANK YOU!

  • I am full of admiration for all mummies who have the time and energy to make things for their babies, but I'm a little perplexed by "baby legs".

If your baby is cold, wouldn't it just be easier to put pants on?

  • what size sock did u use?

  • Wish you could do this for boys... can you find boy's knee highs??

  • @InformationMommy It's totally possible without "boy's" knee highs! I'm making some for my 3 month old son right now. I went to walmart and found women's knee highs in different shades/prints of blue, chocolate brown, solid green and a super cute green/brown argyle print. Five bucks for a 3pk...can't beat that!

  • Good video. I love making baby legs, but now I am on a mission to make some boy ones since that is what I am going to be having

  • That is such a great idea, i think baby legs are so cute!!!

  • I love these video's! Thanks for the ideas Carla!

  • Great video! Umm, i don't have my own baby yet :'( but i'm kind of confused about "baby legs" - won't they just fall down all the time? xx

  • You are to awesome at coming up with these cool little things.. Thanks so much for sharing..

  • Ooooh my. I would never ever thought of making my own baby legs. This seems so easy, I definatelly have to try it myself. What a great idea. Thank you for inspiring me.

  • Wow they turned out SO cute, love them! Can't wait to try out this tutorial :) We can sew by hand right? I don't have my sewing machine with me here in Japan.

  • @AmyLizz Sometimes I think sewing by hand would be easier considering how much some of these socks curl after you cut them. :)

  • Boston Red Sox blanket?! HECK YES! :) Oh yeah, fun tutorial and Hannah is adorable as usual. :)

  • @MiaVerita Go Sox!

  • I take the easy way out I just put the whole sock on my baby girl, but may have to try this!!! Super cute!

Hey, what are the measurements of your cutting mat? I need to get one. Where'd you get it?

  • @Trinette75 I bought it from JoAnns with a 40% coupon. It's the biggest size they carry.

  • great tutorial, very clear and easy to follow. i like my own baby legs better than the brand because my baby's legs are so chunky and they fit him better. and they aren't so expensive!

  • It's so funny that you posted this...I just made 2 pair last night :)
