Almost sounds as shitty as Metallicas version. You guys playing wasn't bad, but that guitar really needs to be tuned. Not only that but why doesnt anyone ever do a cover of Skynyrd? I think the original is so much better.

@metalgearsolid200678: We're planning on redoing this soon. Metallica's my favorite band though, so naturally, I'm pretty good with this version because I know every song Metallica's ever made on bass.

Cool, but the guitar was overpowering, not enough adjusting, and I dig all you're videos, but the popping in it was a bit much, however, it's fun to add popping, and it's always fun to jam with someone, so kudos!

5-strings are better to me, because I get more control over them better than a four or the 6. I would say the chance you have to get one, go for it. Depending on how long you've been playing, it might take some getting used to. The longer u've played, the harder its gonna be. It wasn't too bad for me because I had only been playing 4 or 5 months when I moved up.

It still shouldnt be too bad. I adjusted to the 5-string in 2 days and the 6-string 6 months later in like, 2 hours. All that was within a week over a year, so it wasn't to bad.

Like the title says, its a lot of improv and more or less dicking around. I can play the bass part to this version perfect, but I wanted to do something a little different. And the guitar player was playing the original Skynyrd guitar part over that.

I'll give you the fact that it sounds bad, because it does. But calling the worst ever is pretty rediculous. I've heard much worse. So yes, it sounds bad, but if you actually watched past the first minute, its not too bad. I can play the song exactly like Jason played, and the guitarist is playing Skynyrds original version, we just chose to mix it up and give it something different. So yes it sounds kind of bad, but it's not the worst. Can we agree on that?
